donât know if it was intentional, but thereâs something really satisfying about Norris reading a casement focused on themes of hunger pushing you to eat things you really, really donât want to when in MAG 156 you had Martin reading an extinction statement focused on the idea of a literal famine world where people played carnival games to be rewarded with the scraps of anything food-like left. Favourite parallel between TMA and tmagp so far Iâll be honest, the extinction statements actually were so good I wish we got more of themâ

@deathvisited said: SPOTS TO KISS + 49. a kiss on the inner thigh. / kassy & callum.
kassy had been visiting callum more often now, enjoying the uncovering of her more nerdier side she hadnât quite endulged in a while. theyâd continued watching attack on titan until she noticed he had stardew valley and theyâd swapped to playing that instead. it was honestly more relaxing than she remembered, just playing a cozy game cuddled up together on the couch with a coffee. they had planned out what they wanted to do with their farm and while callum seemed very determined, kassy found herself just wandering, picking up flowers and random fruit while he listed off facts about the game.
her gaze left the tv to glance over at him, watching with adoration until he realized and trailed off, face flushing practically immediately. kassy couldnât help but chuckle at that, âdonât apologize,â she said as she lowered her controller, âitâs cute.â slowly, she shifted, moving closer to him as she reached out to cup his cheek, thumb grazing along the soft skin as her dark brown eyes dropped from his shy hazel ones to his lips. a lazy smile spread across her own as he bit into his before she leaned in closing the space between them and capture his mouth with hers. it was a slow, tender, teasing kiss at first, only meant to distract him from the game before her hand searched blindly to take the remote now held loosely in his hands.
setting it aside, her hands smoothed down his chest to his hips, urging him into her lap. as he moved to obey, a hand raised to cup his face once again as she deepened the kiss, teeth then sinking into that soft, plump bottom lip of his. the noise she earned from him had goosebumps rise across her skin, free hand sliding up under his shirt to drag her nails tantalizingly along as much skin as she could reach, smoothing across his back as she pulled him closer against her. with the game forgotten to them both now, a pleased hum escaped at his reactions before breaking the kiss to give them both a moment to catch their breath. she smiled up at him, gaze a mixture of lust and adoration as her hand pet through his hair. âso cute i clearly canât help myself,â she teased though she doubted he even remembered what she was referencing.
the flushed cheeks, the hungry, needy, haze in his eyes, the soft panting and now touseled hair had her smile grow and heart squeeze in her chest. he really was too damn adorable for his own good -- it was a wonder how they could do anything without her pulling him into her lap or pinning him down to have her way with him. leaning in, she kissed him softly again, lips teasing as her hands worked at his jeans, palming the arousal she could feel. lips curled into a smirk as he gasped against her mouth, unzipping his jeans before shifting longwise on the couch. âlay back,â she urged him, firm hand gently pushing him back before hovering over him as he looked up at her with complete and utter trust and she couldnât help but kiss him again.
âgood boy,â she whispered with a smile against his lips before she shifted down his body, tugging his jeans down and discarding them. it was then she paused as sudden and unexpected emotion caught in her throat witnessing the scars that lined along his thighs, peeking from under his briefs. âcallum...â she whispered softly as he squirmed. he had nothing to be ashamed of but her heart hurt for him. these were done in a deliberate manner and sheâd heard bits and pieces of his past. of the mistreatment but since their first session she hadnât seen them. hands smoothed over his thighs, watching as he seemed torn between the pleasure and embarrassment. fingers hooked in the top of his briefs as she looked at him, âmay i?â she asked softly, watching as he hesitated a moment before nodding.Â
as she slowly tugged them down she noticed the burned name along his hip bone and she gasped quietly, dark eyes shimmering with a tightly coiled mix of sympathy and rage. âmy poor darling boy...â she said softly. how could someone do this to him? fingers lightly brush over the burned skin before she leaned in, petting along the scars on his thighs. âno one will ever treat you in this way ever again,â she swore to him before placing gentle, tender kisses along the sensitive skin. she spoke soft praise as she kissed his scars, wanting him to know she thought no differently of him nor his body because of them. if anything it only had her growing more protective of him and as she left her own marks on the skin of his inner thighs, marks of passion made by her mouth and pulling pleasure from him as her free hand slid up along the couch to find and hold tight to his own.Â

I swear I ainât in it for the money, but I canât stop thinking about sugar daddy shoto. Maybe he sweeps a cute little college kid or barista of their feet, just something fun and casual. But this man starts falling harder, needing a way to lock them down to him. Money isnât quite cutting it anymore, so he decides fucking a baby into her would do the trick. Shoto would push her down into the mattress, large frame twisting her into a sweet mating press. This way they could stay together forever and Shoto would have absolutely no problem providing for his sweet family <3
but fr tho I feel like Shouto is NOT the type for kids.
Mans will tolerate them when they babble or wave at him, but he very actively Does Not Want them.
Always uses condoms, and even though heâll threaten not to, itâs never a legit thought in his mind to cum inside. Shouto doesnât want to be a dad.
-----
Youâll be sittin on a park bench, fading sunset dark and pretty in front of you yet all you can do is cry. Thereâs not really any people around so itâs not like youâre bothering anyone - you hadnât wanted to cry in your shabby apartment (half the cause of your worries) just in case you received a noise complaint.
âAre you alright?â
A somber, smooth voice is heard. Youâre swiping at your tears quickly as you look up, trying to laugh off your state of distress. âOh, haha, yeah Iâm fine. Thanks for asking.â Itâs hard to smile with your puffy cheeks and red-rimmed eyes.
The man in front of you frowns, hands in his coat pockets, scarf draped around his neck. âYou donât look fine. Mind if I sit?â
Heâs already claiming the spot next to you on the bench before you can say a word, turning to you with a passive expression. âWhy are you crying?â
And thatâs all it takes to have you breaking down all over again, tears streaming down your face. Just one person offering to listen to the heavy burden you have to bear.
ââM sor-sorry...â You sob, wiping at your eyes with frigid fingers, successful in doing nothing more but smearing tears around your face.
âHere.â The manâs taking off his scarf, gloved hands offering it you.
âI ca-canât use your sc-scarf sir.â But heâs insistent, pressing it into your hands up by your face.
âIâll just get another one. Keep it, youâre in need of it more than I am.â
The kindness makes another fresh bout of tears roll down your cheeks, but this time you're able to dab them away with soft fabric as you sniffle.
It takes a moment for you to calm yourself. When you do, you can finally engage in conversation with the man.
You tell him about your job hours getting cut, how youâve been turned down or ignored by every single place youâve applied at for a second job. How youâre barely affording to wash your clothes - you have to hang them or drape them across things in your apartment because you donât have the money to pay for a dryer cycle.
And to top it all off, youâre still short on rent, despite how you scrimped and saved and even forced yourself not to buy groceries this week - youâve gone hungry for the past three days.
âYou havenât eaten?â
You glance up at the man and his incredulous expression, shaking your head. âIâve been trying to save money, I thought I could afford my rent if-â
âWhat kind of food do you like?â The man is pulling out his phone, swiping and tapping immediately.Â
âThank you, but Iâm not-â looking for charity is what you want to say. Plus, you shouldnât accept favors from strange men.
But the handsome man is waving you silent. âIâm cold, plus Iâd like to grab a bite to eat before I head home. I donât like eating alone though, youâd honestly be doing me a favor.â
You take a moment to process. Is he telling the truth? He sounds like an honest guy.
âSeems like the only place open around here is âJoeâs 24 hour Dinerâ.... You mind burgers?â
So that's how you end up in a booth opposite the man (âShoutoâ he had told you as you both headed to the diner), munching away at warm food. It tastes so good, you hardly have time to worry about the man watching you as he eats.
Youâd been shocked at his looks the moment youâd seen him in the light of the diner. Pretty two-toned hair, different colored eyes, perfect skin, expensive clothes. Why was he even talking to you? Itâs obvious the two of you led very different lives.
âHow does everything taste?â
âDelicious.â Is your response, and Shouto seems pleased, nodding before taking another bite of his meal.
Maybe itâs stupid... but you feel weirdly safe with this man. He doesnât seem to bear any ill-intent towards you, nor has he made any comments about your body or let his hands or eyes stray. He seems like a gentleman.
Conversation flows easily between the two of you, even sharing a few chuckles at times. Heâs some fancy rich businessman, you learn, and you share about your own life, laughing at the comparisons. Shouto canât fathom growing up in a house with less than five bedrooms and a personal servant.
He asks for your number, and youâre hesitant in giving it - he surely canât be interested in you? But he seems so sincere, itâs hard to say no.
When the two of you part ways, Shouto gives you a wave, âHope to see you again soon, and under better circumstances.â
âYou too! And sorry for being such a mess and stopping your walk-â
Shouto shrugs, cheeks beginning to pink from the cold air as you two stand outside the diner. âYou needed help. I like to assist.â
-----
The next morning you wake to find an atrociously large sum deposited in your Venmo account by none other than a Shouto Todoroki.
Immediately, youâre calling him. âItâs too much, we just met. How can you give away that much money to some low-life?â
You hear him sigh on the other end of the phone. âYouâre obviously struggling. I was wondering what your hours are this week, perhaps we could talk about this over dinner? Or lunch, if that fits better with your schedule. Iâm flexible.â
Itâs a few days later, days spent questioning yourself, questioning his intentions, before you see him again, both of you deciding to meet for lunch to further discuss... whatever had just happened.
âWas what I gave you adequate to cover your rent?â Are the first words out of Shoutoâs mouth after you greet each other.
âYeah, more than enough-â You squirm. âBut I need to ask.... why?â
âWhy?â
âWhy me.âÂ
âOh.â Shoutoâs expression clears. âThatâs easy. I told you a few days ago - I like to assist. Iâm quite lonely, and it feels nice to use my money on someone other than myself. I think providing for someone brings me... I wouldnât quite say joy, but... contentment.â
You contemplate his answer for a moment.Â
âWell... you saved me with my rent, I donât really know how to thank you.â
The man leans forward. âWell.... I know it might be a bit sudden, but how would you feel accepting me as a.... benefactor of sorts?â
âYou mean like a sugar daddy?â Is your immediate, blurted response. You want to slap yourself for speaking before you have the chance to think about your words, but luckily Shouto just lets out a light laugh.
âIf youâd like to call it that. Iâm willing to provide financial assistance for you, in exchange for companionship, if youâre willing to give it.â
Your face heats up as you drop your eyes, fidgeting nervously in your seat. âI donât feel comfortable with a... a sexual relationshi-â
âThatâs perfectly acceptable.â Shouto cuts you off before you can continue. âI wasnât trying to insinuate a contract of that nature. Iâm thinking more along the lines of accompanying me at meals, sharing experiences with me, providing company and friendship to a lonely man. If it seems that weâd like to progress further than that after we get to know each other, well, that will be addressed then. For now-â Shouto meets your eye, dipping his head a smidgeon so he can look at you directly. âAll I ask for is a simple, non-intimate bond between two people.â
This is crazy.
And yet you accept.
The situation may be wild, and completely absurd, but youâd be a fool not to say yes.
Shouto is charming and handsome, respectful, courteous - you could go on and on about his positive qualities. He just seems like a sad, lonesome man swallowed by work and responsibilities, too stressed and busy to put the effort into making friends the conventional way.Â
-----
Months pass by.
Youâre eating at every meal, sated and never going hungry. Youâre able to move into a new place, one that doesnât smell like cigarettes and sits right next to a railroad.
Clothes arenât a worry anymore, you have your own washer and dryer in your new apartment (Shouto offered to buy you a house, or a penthouse at the least, but you couldnât justify it to yourself). Youâre able to afford new things, and pretty dresses, shoes that are comfortable and fashionable and that fit.
You no longer have to wear clothes down until they have holes in them. Youâre able to go to the doctorâs when you feel sick, able to pay for health insurance.
Life is good.
Shouto is a personable man, serious, but he can be rather funny and even crude at times.
The doubt and thoughts of âWhy is he doing this for me?â and âIâm not good enough for this.â plague you, but Shouto always seems to catch on, reassuring you that youâre exactly what he needs - a friend.
And youâre more than happy to be that.
You think sometimes, that even if he wasnât paying you, youâd still like to be friends with Shouto Todoroki.
Until he starts acting weird.
âYou should just stay at my place. I have more than enough room,, itâd be easier for both our schedules. Weâd get to see each other more often.â
âUhm...â You donât really know what to say. You like your freedom, and having your own place where you can walk around in your (expensive) underwear without being bothered.
âI think itâd be nice, donât you? We could have breakfast every morning, you wouldnât have to worry about traveling to and fro, we could spend more time together. We donât see each other nearly enough.â
Heâs pushing, insistent. How are you supposed to tell him no? Heâs paying for your entire life. Plus, it wouldnât be that bad to actually live with him. Shoutoâs an amicable man.
So you move in.
âI bought you a few things, theyâre on your bed.âÂ
Shoutoâs striding into the kitchen where youâre making coffee, buttoning up his shirt as he comes closer. Youâve found that the man likes to sleep in nothing but boxers, shrieking and flushing an embarrassing shade the first time heâd come to wake you up with a sweet âwelcomeâ breakfast in bed.
Itâs taken a while to adjust, but you finally feel that youâre fully settled in.
âOh, you really donât ha-â
âI wanted to. I went through your closet - your clothes are nice, but your underwear seemed to be lacking.â Heâs so matter-of-fact.
All you can do is stare at the back of his head.
âCould you pass me a spoon please?â
-----
Shouto had splurged on expensive, fancy lingerie.Â
At least eight different sets were laid out on your bed. It was overwhelming. It also felt.... a bit intrusive? They were all in your size, in a complementary color for your skin tone.Â
Weird.
Not as weird as the onset of Shoutoâs casual touches.
Youâd be reading, or drinking tea and watching cars race by on the street so far below, and Shouto would come up behind you, caress your sides before intertwining his fingers with yours on one hand. He did it as if it was a normal thing, but it felt anything but normal.
Or youâd be on the couch together, and Shouto would shuffle closer until his large body was pressed to yours, almost curled around you. The faux-cuddling was a bit more off putting. How do you tell him no?
The touches became more and more intimate, Shoutoâs gifts more and more frequent until you werenât even spending a penny, the man taking care of everything.
The arrangement was beginning to make you uncomfortable.
Shoutoâs bi-colored eyes seemed to always be on you, tracing the shape of your body, watching you move, or breath, or sit. It was distracting, and you felt bad for feeling this way towards the man whoâd pulled you out of poverty, but it was so unnerving.
He seemed to notice.
âYouâve been so stressed these past few days. Is something wrong?â Shoutoâs rubbing a hand into your shoulder, hovering over you at the dinner table.
âNo?â Is all you can manage, wiping your hands on your napkin as you finish your food.
Shouto frowns. With a sigh, his hand drops from your shoulder and the man leaves your side, heads toward the kitchen.
You clear your plate from the table, following after him so you can wash it and put it in the dishwasher before you head off to get ready for bed.Â
But Shouto is rummaging in a cupboard, pulling down two wine glasses to accompany the bottle of wine thatâs standing proud on the island. Â Itâs your favorite, a sweet wine that Shouto knows you like, always brings it out when he decides to drink whisky or bourbon after dinner.
He pops the cork and pours you a glass while you finish with your dishes, handing you the glass when you turn away from the sink, pressing it into your hands. âLetâs relax a little bit, itâll be good for both of us.â
Youâre fine with that, knowing that a little wine wonât hurt you, especially when itâs of such fine quality. Youâd never dreamed that youâd be able to taste such richness in your lifetime, spend frivolous amounts of money on wine and fine eateries. Yet here you are.
Shouto pours himself a glass, barely a sip filling the bottom. The man raises it to his lips and takes a swig, grimacing a bit in his flat, unexpressive way. You giggle a little.
âToo sweet?â
The man nods, setting the glass back down. âIâm not entirely sure how you can stand to stomach it. But if it makes you happy-â He shrugs, before pulling on of the bar-stools out from under the island so he can sit facing you, long legs stretching out before him.
You look at him, and he looks at you, and then you take another sip of wine to avoid the awkwardness.
âYouâre distancing yourself from me.â
The accusation is quiet, Shoutoâs eyes focused on your fingers wrapped around the stem of the glass.
Heâs always been straightforward with his words. âIs there a reason you keep drawing away?â
The wine disappears from your glass, sliding down your throat and settling in your stomach. You fill your glass again before speaking, struggling to find the right words without upsetting your... benefactor.
âWell, Shouto... I donât really know how to...â You trail off, hoping Shouto will say something, change the subject, say itâs alright and move on to something else.
But the man stays silent, eyes appraising you.
Taking a deep breath, and another gulp of sweetness, you try again.
âSometimes the closeness... like, physical closeness? Makes me, well, uncomfortable.â
Hopefully, that would satisfy his curiosity for now. That wasnât the only reason youâd been avoiding Shouto seeming distant, but you didnât think sharing the others would result in anything good.
Said man accepted your response, dropping his eyes to his lap as he mulled it over. More wine was consumed, glass re-filled. You felt nervous.
âYouâre saying that my touch isnât something youâd prefer.â
Biting your lip, you soften at his confused expression, at the hint of sadness swimming behind his eyes. âKind of. I donât mind you Shouto, youâre really kind, and youâre good company, and a wonderful friend. I just donât think the.... the intimacy is for me.â
Shouto raises his head, stares at you with those pretty eyes, lips parted as he comes to terms with your words.Â
âIt sounds like you donât trust me. I would never hurt you, you know this.â
You scramble to assure him. âI do! I do trust you, and I know you wouldnât.â (at least you hoped) âBut I guess I just... Coming into this agreement I wasnât ready for that type of... thing. I donât know if I ever will be.â
The man rises, shakes his head as he steps closer to you. âDonât worry, I remember our first conversation about that aspect. I see that for you, that type of relationship would only begin after you really cared for the other person, trusted and wanted to see them happy, am I correct?â
âOh, Shouto-â You rush. âNo, I care for you, and I trust you, and of course I want to see you happy. I think itâs just, yâknow, my last relationship like that went really bad, and it sucked. I donât want to go through that again.â
Shouto nods, understanding. âI see. You donât have to worry about any of that with me then.â
A smile crosses your face, and you feel relived that he accepted your rejection with grace and understanding instead of violence or anger. âThank you, it means a lot to me.â
The mood of the room shifted, from tense and uncomfortable, to easy and light, and you poured another glass of wine, laughing a little at how worried you were about the conversation with Shouto, only for it all to turn out fine.
âIâm going to go drink some of the liquor thatâs kept in my room. I could mix a few drinks for you to try, you might like how sweet they are. I know hard alcohol isnât quite your thing.â
You beam a smile, nodding your head eagerly. Before, youâd feel apprehensive about going into his room with him to drink alcohol. But with the conversation the two of you just had, you knew - things would be fine.
-----
The room was spinning and you felt giddy and light. You were definitely tipsy.
âYou can lay down on my bed, youâre getting wobbly on your feet.â Shouto had offered, and youâd gladly accepted, flopping down onto his comfy bedspread with a laugh at how the motion made butterflies rise in your tummy.
Shouto leaned against his dresser, swirling whiskey in his glass as he watched you, a half-smile across his face. You smiled back, before closing your eyes, a little bit tired as you realized that you might be a bit more than just tipsy.
Shouto had mixed quite a few drinks for you, and youâd drank each one eagerly, impressed with how little alcohol you could taste in each one. You donât remember how many you had, but it didnât really matter.
The next thing you know, hands are on your waist, scooting you further up the bed so your legs no longer hang off the edge. Cracking open an eye, youâre met with the visage of red-and-white, eyes soft and warm as they regard you, Shoutoâs face tinged a bit pink from the few drinks he had consumed. The man had never been too good at holding his alcohol.
When those hands started to slip beneath your shirt, you wiggled like a little worm, not really comprehending the situation. Maybe it was a dream.
Your shirt was discarded, then your pants. It felt much more comfortable now, and you mumbled a âthanksâ to the man helping you settle for bed. He was so nice, Shouto took such good care of you. You still kind of couldnât believe the turn your life had taken with him, the good luck pushed into your path.
Someone was kissing you.
With a grunt of surprise, you kissed them back, meeting their feverish pace and trying to keep up, soft lips puckering and pushing against your own with intent. Kissing felt good. You liked kissing.
Then a hand was cupping your face, stroking tenderly over your cheek before it began sliding down, down your neck, into the valley between your breasts, trailing over your bra. It felt funny.
Pushing back for air, you gasped when the hand on your chest started squeezing at you, eyes flying open with the startling, sudden sensation.
Shouto was hovering over you, lips puffy, panting as he stared at you with lusty eyes, an uncharacteristic look on his face. This... this wasnât supposed to be like this. You knew. Hadnât the two of you just talked about something... important? Was it important?
You didnât feel panic until a hand cupped your sex, feeling your skin through your panties.
This wasnât right.
Alarm bells were ringing, dull and far away, but you didnât think that Shouto should be touching you in such a way. you should be going to bed.
âMm, Sho, can you stop?â But your words felt funny on your tongue, and Shouto didnât stop. Maybe he didnât hear you.
His hair tickled your chin as the man bent to mouth at your tits, pulling the cups of your bra underneath them so he could feel your hot skin, let his saliva drag slick and wet against your chest.Â
Your hands instinctively rooted themselves in his hair as you gasped again, not expecting such a move, tugging lightly at his head to pull him up. Shouto just groaned, teething gently at your breasts and not moving an inch. His hips were grinding against the bed though, as he stood between your spread legs.
Before you knew it, your panties were gone, bra clumsily unclasped and discarded, and you were completely bare. Shouto was undressing before you, struggling with the buttons on his shirt before giving up, easily ripping the fabric of his body with one tug, grumbling.
You didnât feel so tipsy anymore.
âShouto, whatâre we doing? We shouldnât be doing this, we need to stop-â
âStay down.â Was his firm command, a hand splayed across your naked chest and pushing you back into the mattress as you tried to sit up. It made you breathless, the growl in his voice, the dominance emanating from the man. You stayed still.
âThisâs gonna make us a stronger couple.â The man slurred, eyes dark and hands wandering, effortlessly keeping you pinned against the bed as he ground his hips forward against the edge. You were getting scared.
âWait-â
You fell silent as one hand pushed down his pants, his underwear going with them, pink cock bobbing free. He was so pretty down there, and it made sense, all of him was pretty, but you suddenly realized the weight of the situation, what was happening.
âShouto, no, oh my god. We gotta stop right now, weâre drunk, weâre-weâre-â
âDonât care. Not gonna let you hide away from me this time.â Shouto shook his head, taking his cock in one hand and giving it a long, slow pump, flushed tip weeping precum and wetting his hand.
âNo, no, this is wrong. I donât want this, I could get pregnant!â You cried, beginning to panic for real, pushing against the one strong hand anchoring you to the bed.
Shouto just chuckled, letting go of his cock to crowd against you, getting up in your face to press a wet finger to your lips, the salty taste of his precum threatening to slip into your mouth unless you kept it shut. âShhh, shh. If you stay nice and still, if you do what I say, Iâll use a condom.â
You couldnât believe your ears.
âYouâre gonna listen to me, you always do.â The man nodded to himself, once again dragging his cock against the bed between your legs, as if he couldnât stop himself. âOr else Iâll fuck you raw.â The finger was pulled from your lips, only to be wagged teasingly in your face.Â
You couldnât believe how he was acting.
âBe nice.â
Shouto tapped your nose with a neatly manicured finger, before groaning as he heaved himself upright, red cock bobbing against his stomach, desperate for attention. The man gave you a look, as if to say âdonât moveâ before he took his hands off you, heading for his dresser.
Once you saw him pulling out a strip of condoms, you were on your feet, stumbling toward the door.
Although panic had sobered you somewhat, you were still struggling with the effects of the alcohol, so your reaction time was maddeningly slow. Slow enough that you werenât able to truly fight against Shouto when he grabbed you from behind toned arms wrapping around your middle and heaving you into the air, only to throw you back on his bed.
You were almost sick on the bedspread, world spinning and stomach protesting, but you were able to calm yourself.
But then Shouto was on you, flipping you onto your back, a soft hand pressing against your throat threateningly.Â
âYou want to have a baby? Want me to cum in you so youâll get all fat with kids? Hm?â He was so intense, almost choking you, straddling your waist and keeping you pinned. It was too much
You were able to manage a tearful, desperate âNo!â despite the hand around your throat, and Shouto backed off, releasing the pressure to instead stroke his hand against the sides of your neck.
âStop acting like this, itâs the next logical step for us. You said you cared for me, wanna make me happy. Thisâll make me happy. I wonât be like the last guy.â
His cock was pressed against your stomach, and you could feel it twitching. Shouto clambered off of you, letting go of your neck so he could grab the condoms heâd tossed on the bed before snatching you up.
âDo what I say and I use these.â He waved them in your face before tearing one off, beginning to open it.Â
You stayed still, gazing at him blearily, limbs feeling fuzzy, mind feeling the same.
The condom was rolled onto Shoutoâs cock, the man spitting into his palm and giving the latex a few rubs to make it slick before reaching for you.
He dragged you to the edge of the bed - the perfect height for him to fuck you - and you didnât fight, terrified of his threat. You couldnât stand the thought of a baby.
(You didnât know, but neither could he)
âWanted to do this since I met you.â Shouto mumbled, pushing your panties to the side with a few fingers so he could guide his tip to your hole. âWant you so bad.â
You didnât know what to think of this side of Shouto. This unreserved, uncareful, slurring mess of a man that loomed before you, gaze dark and wild, limbs everywhere as he groped and squeezed and appreciate the shape of your body.
But he mustâve gotten impatient, because then he was pushing inside.
It hurt, stinging pain rippling up your back and you keened, causing Shouto to pause. One of his hands darted down to wrap around your calf, hauling it up on the bed so he could lean forward and press it to you chest, sinking his cock a few inches deeper.
âYouâre gonna take it.â He hissed before messily kissing you, pressed so close together that it was hard to breathe. âIâll make it feel good after you do.â

MOVIE DATE
PAIRING: Hwang Hyunjin x Manager!M!Reader
GENRE: Angst, Fluff
WARNING: Hyunjin being a jerk
SUMMARY: You boyfriend, Hyunjin took you out on a date to watch your favorite movie.
You sighed in exhaustion and as if the world was trying to test you, a fast running bicycle came your way causing you to jump to the side, so fast that you forgot about the takeouts you had in your hands and at a blink of an eye the neatly boxed items fell to the ground, all the food now spilled on the floor with your eyes widening in fear. "Shit!" You yelled out and tried to get back to the restaurant again, but as soon as you got there the line was already long and it'd take you ages to get to the counter to order, again.
You were at your way to your work with your phone squeezed in between your shoulder and ear as you talked to your co-manager on the other line who seemed agitated for your tardiness, while you tried to balance the foods you were made to order. "Yes, sir. I'll make sure that won't happen again." You told the male before the call was cut short when he decided to hang up all of a sudden.
Looking around, you saw a chinese restaurant that had the smallest line, so you went there and bought the food there, even though the orders of the group was not exactly what they wanted for you to buy. You just couldn't go back empty handed.
After a few minutes of walking, you finally arrived at the venue of the fansign event and got there just in time before Stray Kids were called to the stage for their activity to be done, but the moment you got there you saw that the people present were already eating their food away. They noticed your presence entering the room whilst their head turned to look at you. "I... Good morning, everyone." You greeted them. 'Guess their manager got their food delivered.'
You didn't get a reply, except from the group who was more than happy to see that you had food on your hands. "Hyung! Thank God. I was starving." The group's youngest, Jeongin said as he helped you put the foods down on the table. "You're seriously a life saver."
You smiled at him giving him a muttered thanks that earned you a smile from Jeongin. Honestly speaking, Jeongin was the second best person you ever liked in the group, the first being Lee Felix since he was the only person to ever approach you on your first day since he was able to see how much you were so nervous. Felix was also one of the members who taught you korean, the other being Bang Chan. You had always knew the group back then, and now and you were damn thankful that you got the opportunity to be in their circle.
Knowing how young you were to be working for them, they treated you nicely, not because they needed to, rather cause it was in their nature to be caring. Well, at least except one person. You were the closest to Felix who treated you like his personal manager and a friend as well, going out on friendly dates with you to the park, dog cafĂŠs, just anywhere Felix would find interesting to visit.
Who's the person that seemed irritated whenever you were around you ask? Why, the one and only visual king, Hwang Hyunjin. He doesn't actually treat you bad, but the way his eyes would always turn dark or displeased when you show up in his line of sight made you feel so small and felt totally unwelcomed. That was then, apparently, since today the male looked a little too quiet and didn't even bother to look at you. Believe me or not that's actually the kindest thing he's done to you.
You would try to go to him to try and talk to him, worried by his silence. You just furrowed your brows and sighed completely aware that no matter how much you try to talk to him he won't even dare to acknowledge you being there for him.
"M/n, are you just gonna stand there? Come and eat." Chan told you, but you just politely declined his offer with the shake of your head before telling him that you had just taken your breakfast and that you were full, more and you feel like your stomach's gonna burst. "Hm, suit yourself, but I'll be leaving mine untouched, so you can eat it when you get hungry, yeah?"
"You're so kind, Chan." You gave him a smile that got Chan smiling also showing his deep dimples that you could just dive in it anytime soon.
"Hey, hey, hey! We've known each other the longest. Why do I still have to call you 'hyung' and M/n doesn't?" Jisung, one of the group's rapper, pouted with folded arms as Chan chuckled before ruffling the kid's hair that Jisung angrily shook off.
"Well, since he's not that spoiled, unlike you." Chan answered Jisung who gasped dramatically. "And he also gained my permission, soâ"
"Whenever or not he's around, is he the only person that ever comes into your mind?" That all too familiar voice spoke out, all your heads turning towards the person. He scoffed and stood up with a smirk on his face, probably in disbelief that the whole group was talking to you and always thought about you. "I mean, come on. There's gotta be something else to talk about other than this... person." You felt his eyes look at you while your eyes stared at him with rising anger. "There's sports, other artists, songs, music, so many and you chose to pick him as the topic of your talk."
"Hyunjin, that is very disrespectful." Chan gritted out, but Hyunjin knew better than to listen or to even stop.
"I'm really not, hyung." Hyunjin's smirk grew wider eyeing you with a suspicious look on his eyes. An idea popped in his head as he opened his mouth to talk. "But, if you want to, I could show you how disrespectful I can get." Without any warning, he took the take-out container and bottled drink in his hand and gave you no second to react as he poured all of its contents onto your head with a loud gasp coming out of you. "There. I'll call it a masterpiece even."
"Hwang Hyunjin!" Bang Chan's voice boomed through the whole room a still smirking Hyunjin turning around to face the older male who was fuming with anger. "Youâ"
"Chan!" You called out to him before things got a little out of hand. For pete's sake their going to just fight because Hyunjin had made a mess of you? You were not even worth the fight. "No. I'm fine. I can just quickly change, that's all. I'll be right back and I better get no reports about you two fighting." You told the two, Chan rolling his eyes.
You got out of the room and ran as fast as you can to the nearest restroom, cleaning yourself as soon as you arrived. Times like this you would immediately bawl your eyes out, but with the constant behavior that Hyunjin showed to you, you grew used to it. Heck, you even sometimes feel that the other boys only act like they liked you being there and when you weren't, they'd stab you behind your back. "Goodness, why won't this get off."
"Need help?" A raspy voice came from the entrance of the restroom, turning your head around to see Felix leaning himself on the door frame with his arms crossed, then untangled them to let his hands rest inside his pockets and stepped inside as you smiled at him. "Do you need more tissue?"
You shook your head at him, your attention back on your stained favorite shirt wiping them clean with the tissues the place's restroom owned. "Nah, there's plenty here. Besides, I'm all dried up now." You said and showed yourself to him, Felix knitting his brows in worry.
He seeped air through his teeth and cocked his head to the side, unsure if you should be wearing that now dirty shirt when you'd be with them during the activity the whole time. "I don't think you should be wearing that."
"Why? It's my favorite sweater." You chuckled half-heartedly.
"Yeah, I know, M/n, but it's dirty. Plus, I think it gets pretty uncomfortable seeing that stain on your shirt and it gets sticky. Yeugh." Felix pretended to barf which got you laughing softly. Felix, though not trying to be funny, whatever he does it always seemed so funny to you.
"Fine, fine. I'll go change, the problem though is that I didn't bring an extra shirt with me today." You told Felix scratching your nape.
"Really? Well, I guess we have to borrow from one of the group's." Felix suggested, but your eyes grew sizes bigger upon hearing that and waved your hands.
"No way, Felix! I have already done enough damage, I can't afford to borrow a shirt from one of the members, or to you even." You told him, but it all fell on deaf ears as Felix refused to listen. "I'm just trouble, Felix. You don't have to worry about me."
Felix hummed with two fingers pinching his chin gently. "Yeah, I don't think so." He took your wrist and started to drag you back to the dressing room. "Come on, I know there's someone willing to let you borrow a shirt." You just sighed, knowing that Felix won't even dare to change his mind when he had already set them on something.
Alas, as you two got there, none of the members even had a spare shirt to let you borrow. They were very willing and even tried to look around if there was anything, but to no avail. Although, there was one last person you didn't ask. "Hyunjin. You were the cause of this mess, you let him borrow your shirt." Felix sternly told the older male who pilled his brows together.
"What?! No way! Are you telling me I'd offer to do something for that guy? No!" Hyunjin retorted making Felix growl.
Felix was so ready to throw punches at the male who didn't seem to be bothered by the situation, but you just put a hand on Felix's shoulder and assured him. "That's alright, Felix. My sweater was thick enough to not get my undershirt wet. Although, I'm grateful for your effort." You smiled at him and sighed.
Just in time, you heard a call from one of your co-manager that the group was already being requested to be at the stage right now. You gave them an encouraging smile as they all did the same. "Alright boys. It's time to go out there and meet millions of your fans."
The group all shouted, excluding Hyunjin, hurray and hurried out to get on stage, you following behind after you were able to discard your sweater, leaving you only on your black t-shirt. You shivered at the cold now that you were left with a thin clothing that wasn't appropriate for the type of weather you were having and not mention that the place was fully air-conditioned.
Your shaking was not too evident, but one of the members, Seungmin, was able to notice it. Feeling pity he made his way to Hyunjin and tried to convince him. "Jinnie, M/n's cold. Please lend him your jacket, at least. He'll get sick if he continues to get exposed to the cold."
"Better for him."
"Hyunjin, please... Besides, you're already wearing thick layers of clothes why not let M/n borrow." Seungmin reasoned out and solemnly knitted his brows to persuade the male, Hyunjin rolling his eyes at his bestfriend and huffed before taking his jacket off of him and handed it over to Seungmin who silently squeaked. "Thanks, Hyunjin." Hyunjin brushed it off with a 'whatever', the younger of the two jogging his way towards you and gave you the jacket he got from Hyunjin. "I noticed your shivering, so I want you to take this jacket and no, you can't say you can't accept it."
You nodded your head at him and took the jacket from his hands. "Thank you, Seungmin."
"My pleasure." He smiled at you with those puppy dog like smile. He skipped back to reunite with his group while you put on the jacket that Seungmin offered you. You were still in thought though how Seungmin was able to convince Hyunjin to let you borrow his jacket. You knew Hyunjin owned the jacket since he wouldn't let them go since the moment you arrived.
You noticed how the jacket was too big for you, since the sleeves of the piece of clothing only let your fingers peek out through the holes while the flaps reached further down your hips, but it totally felt cozy and smelled like... Hyunjin. How do you explain it? You don't even know where to begin. It was him. The reason why you wanted to work with Stray Kids. You didn't want to look like you were some type of stalker, but all you ever wanted was to befriend Hyunjin.
The befriending process didn't go the way you actually thought it would go. Everytime his eyes met yours or you heard his voice you'd get all flustered and so nervous that your tongue always gets tied, the words you want to tell him gets trapped inside your mouth. It all started to be just an admiration towards the slightly older male until your determination to become his friend gradually became an unknown feeling towards Hyunjin, until realizing later that you actually liked the group's rapper, despite all his bad treatment towards you.
Back to reality, you hugged yourself and took in the wonderful scent the artist gave off until one of your co-worker nudged you. "Hey, stop sniffing the clothes. You totally look like a sasaeng."
"W-what? I wasn't sniffing anything." You denied it earning an eye roll. Later, you heard the whole place bursted into shouts of joy and excitement as Stray Kids made their appearance on the stage greeting all their fans inside and outside of the place. They all took their turns taking the mic to express their happiness and gratefulness to their ocean of fans that filled up the whole place.
Soon, the group was seated at a long rectangular table that was a perfect fit letting all the members seat on their respective seats. There were chairs as well settled in front of the table with each settled across a specific member.
You were appointed to keep guard and stand behind Hyunjin, in any case of fans throwing shade at him or any forms of harm or hate towards the member who had just been caught up in a supposed bullying rumor.
The line started to form as people who were present inside the place took their turns to talk to each member and get a sign from them. So far, you could only wonder how paranoid the company was to keep you on guard of Hyunjin when all these people here are Stays and they wouldn't do such thing to throw hate to any members in the group. Right?
The line was still too long to be gone in just minutes making you sigh, hearing your tummy rumble hoping that no one heard that. You now finally regret not eating that noodles that Chan offered you, the hunger finally hitting your system as your tummy continued to grumble. You pursed your lips and forced your eyes closed while you brought your head down in embarrassment. 'Fuck... why now?'
After a short while, the line was starting to get shorter and shorter, you thanking the heavens for the fast passing by of the time. But, the moment you least expected to happen happened. You felt a harsh tap on your legs and another and another after it finally took your attention, getting a little shocked that the action was done by the person who hated you the worst. "Take it before I change my mind." He told you. You complied and bowed at him politely as he tuts his tongue. "Who would even think of going to work on an empty stomach?"
'You... poured it on me?' You thought then shrugging it off before you looked at the treat offered to you by Hyunjin. You wondered what type of bread it was and hesitated, although Hyunjin's back was facing you he was able to sense your hard time on trying to eat what he gave you.
"It's not poisoned, M/n." He whispered as he signed the album that had his photo on it, then looking up at the fan who would like to talk to him.
Their talk wasn't audible to you, but you opened the packaging of the nicely wrapped pastry and bit on it with your body facing the wall so your back was turned against the people to cover yourself while you ate. One of your co-manager did notice your unwanted behavior and stomped his way to you and took the baked good from your hands and threw it to the ground to step on it and crush it good. "What do you think you're doing, L/n?! You're being inappropriate right now." He gritted out to you with a small voice almost like a whisper so no one else would hear you two. You bowed your head subtly before a hand was placed right below your chin as you looked up at him confused. "Spit." He ordered, referring to the food you were chewing.
You nod your head and spit out the food that was in your mouth into his hand while he picked up the wasted food and left, then threw it all at a trash can. "Fuck." You sighed as you held your chest and slowly turned around to face the non-existent line, the group now interacting with their fans.
Just looking at them now, you were able to remember when you were the one who was there seated at the chairs shouting out the name of the person you would call as your bias, which is no other than Kim Seungmin. At least, when you still didn't take the job to be one of the group's manager. Usually, it would only take one manager to manage the group, but why did this group require another one? You questioned yourself. It was all unexplained to you, but all you gotta do was to just be glad that you get to be friends with the people you see as your role models.
"Hyunjin-ah! When did you start trading jackets with your manager?" The question came out as a shout that got everyone laughing, including the group. You were only able to chuckle knowing that it was Seungmin who convinced Hyunjin to let you borrow his jacket.
Hyunjin didn't get to answer the question, when another fan spoke from the crowd that got every fans' attention. "Are rumors true that you don't treat Manager L/n well?"
Chan furrowed his brows and picked up his microphone. "Where did you get this story?" He chuckled trying to make it sound that it wasn't true and just pure bluff. Chan looked at Hyunjin with the face that told Hyunjin that he should start treating you well if he didn't want the netizens to know about his treatment towards you. "Anyways, it's seriously not true."
-----------
A few minutes later and the event was finally finished and the group was bidding their goodbyes to their fans as they started to walk backstage. You waited for them at their waiting room with a handful of bottled waters for the boys to pick up once they get inside. The door soon opened revealing the group with a tense atmosphere following them that got you so confused. "Heyâ"
"Hyunjin. If word gets out about your mistreatment to M/n, that would be a serious damage to our image and to M/n as well, 'cause he's obviously in pain because of you!" Chan yelled at the trouble causing male who only rolled his eyes paying no heed to his warning.
"Atleast, I never went too far as to really hurt him physically." Hyunjin deadpanned Chan growling at his response. Your eyes flickered to Hyunjin, then to Chan not knowing what to do in this situation.
"You are seriously being a jerk right now, Hyunjin." Chan fumed in anger while Hyunjin just continued to act deaf and played on his phone. Chan, giving up, sighed and plopped down on his seat. "Ayayay."
They took turns in getting your glances as you thought of a way to calm the atmosphere. You had already been their manager for a over a year now and this was the only time that Hyunjin ever spoke up to Chan and, to top it off, with sass and without the slightest feeling of being bothered. That was the moment you felt like you had enough. You've had enough with all these things. You were tired of yourself to even think that Hyunjin would finally soften up to you and be his friend. You were wrong to even apply for this kind of job. The group wouldn't be fighting if it hadn't been for you appearing in their lives all so suddenly. "Guys... let him do as he pleases. I'll be the one to take of whatever the netizens hear."
Chan raised his eyes up at you with furrowed brows. "What do you plan on doing? Whatever it is don't do it."
You smiled and nodded. "I won't, Chan." You held up the bottles in your hands and turned on a toothy smile. "Water? Anyone?" They all sighed in relief and got their turns in picking their own bottled water, the last one not being picked up by Hyunjin, so you decided to give it to him. You brought the cold drink to his face making him flinch as he looked up at you. "Thank you for the bread, by the way." You told him and giggled. "I've already packed your jacket in your bag." You informed him and patted his back.
The once crazily terrifying atmosphere now turned into a more comfortable one, the one you always would want to see. You didn't know what got you the courage to speak or blurt out whatever you had in your mind, but you looked at Hyunjin and said: "Hyunjin, can I talk to you privately?" Thankfully, their loud voices was able to distract themselves from hearing your request to Hyunjin who sighed and nodded his head. He stood up from his seat and started to move outside of the room. You followed behind closely, feeling intimidated by the month older's tall figure. "Hyunjin..."
"Cut to the chase, M/n. I don't have much time." He told you as you nod your head in understanding and fiddled with your fingers.
"I know, you'd probably like hearing this, but could I have the permission to quit as your group's manager?" You asked him, his forehead creasing that made him pull his brows together. "I was able to notice what the group had become the moment I became your managerâ"
"And do you think quitting would change it?" Hyunjin asked you with a raised brow. "If anything, it'd probablyâno, it would break their hearts to know that you quitted. If you do so, you're not only quitting as a manager, but as their friend as well."
"And you're able to say that after you purposely tried to have me fired or suspended from work by offering me that bread?" You sarcastically answered, Hyunjin clearing his throat.
"Well... that wasn't my intention. I didn't even know it'd get you fired." Hyunjin replied making you chuckle.
"Yeah..." You replied with a sad smile. "But, I don't wanna be the reason why you and Chan would always fight. Stray Kids is Stray Kids because they're fun and loving, caring. And I don't want to change that by being around the group." Hyunjin never replied anymore and you sighed. "I'm heading back now." You said and as you started to walk back inside, Hyunjin spoke.
"I wish you never entered our life, at all, M/n." He told you that got your heart broken into pieces. Sure, you admitted that he never liked you even just a bit, but him saying it so bluntly to you, it's like he does really mean it and could only care less. You were about to speak when Hyunjin beat you to it. "If so, I wouldn't be able to garner these undeniable feelings I have for you."
You froze. Were you hearing right? You just cleaned your ears this morning, well you do it everyday. Is your ear trying to play with you? "W-what?"
"DAMN! WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT?!" You gasped with your mouth full of popcorn, your boyfriend, Hyunjin seated beside you at the movie theater. He smiled at you admiring how cute you looked with your shocked expression that was being illuminated by the big screen. "Jinnie! Look, they're gonna kiss! AH!!" As the two actors in the movie was about to kiss, one of the movie's cast bursted out of the door cutting the kiss and earned a few 'oh's and 'I hate you, Chan's. "Chan is such a cock blocker."
"Watch your mouth, babe." Hyunjin told you making you pout.
"It's true, though!" You retorted and Hyunjin could only laugh at your cuteness and honest opinions.

"Ok ok stop fussing now. I'll get you out now."
Hongjoong walked over to the portable crib and picked up his son who was currently whining and kicking his legs around, hating being cooped up inside the contraption for too long. Hongjoong picked him up and looked at him.
"You know, not even the people we lock up in solitary confinement complain as much as you."
The baby reached his tiny hands out, gently patting at his father's nose and cheeks, making Hongjoong chuckle.
"Then again none of them have ever been half as cute as you are. It's a crime to be this cute. I should punish you."
Hongjoong nuzzled his nose against his son's, causing the baby to let out a happy squeal. A tiny buzz let Hongjoong know Yunho was calling him.
"Hey Hongjoong. Your boss is on the line."
Hongjoong rolled his eyes at Yunho's teasing, always saying how you were the real boss. Putting the baby down so he could crawl as he liked, Hongjoong picked up the phone.
"Hey honey." He greeted you.
"How's the baby doing?" You asked.
Hongjoong got a deadpan expression.
"Well hello to you too Mrs. Kim, I'm fine too thanks for asking."
Hongjoong was so concentrated on your conversation he didn't realize the door was open and the baby inadvertently went out.
"He's fine don't worry. And he's no trouble at all, he's currently crawling around my office-"
Hongjoong abruptly stopped when he realized the baby was gone.
"Hongjoong....? What's going on?"
He could hear you getting ready to scold him if anything happened to your child. He stammered as he began looking around for him. A beep on the other line let you both know someone else joined your call.
"I think an enemy spy has infiltrated our base, but honestly, I don't have the heart to fight back." Yunho's voice was followed an incoherent babble, belonging to none other than your baby.
"Oh my God! Yunho is he with you?" You were relieved to find out the baby was ok.
"Yep, and although I'd usually send out a ransom note, I think I'm keeping him hostage for a while." He chuckled.
Hongjoong fumed as he walked out of his office.
"Heck you will! Give me back my son!"

Seonghwa peeked his head into the room, 7 pairs of eyes staring at him intently. Hongjoong sighed softly.
"You're late." He told him.
"Sorry. Got caught up with something." Seonghwa apologized.
"Whatever. Just get in. You haven't missed much of the meeting." His leader assured him.
Hongjoong was about to resume speaking, but he, like the rest of the members watched as Seonghwa opened the door and went to take his seat, a baby carrier on his left hand with his baby daughter inside.
"Night light!" San exclaimed the nickname they all had for Seonghwa's daughter.
"Night fury got stuck with babysitting duty?" Yeosang raised an eyebrow.
Seonghwa glared at him, about to say something but was stopped by Hongjoong.
"Guys! Meeting! Focus ok?"
Hongjoong began talking once again, detailing about a government cargo ship that was soon to land in the city, containing secret weapons.
"Now, if our information is correct, it'll get here in-"
A soft and subtle sneeze interrupted him, followed by a chorus of 'aaaws' and 'ooohs'.
"She's the deadliest weapon ever!" San clutched his heart.
"Yeah! Who can resist that level of cuteness?" Mingi agreed, crouching down to poke her tiny nose.
"I know! Isn't she adorable?" Seonghwa beamed with pride at his baby.
"Guys, remember? Timeline-" Hongjoong tried to get their attention again.
"Has she started talking yet?" Jongho asked.
"No not yet. But she's babbling a lot more, mostly songs in movies or cartoons though." Seonghwa explained.
"Ooooh! Can she do the banana song?! Night light! Watch uncle Woo."
Wooyoung began singing the minions song, not really getting a reaction out of the baby and further causing Hongjoong's annoyance to spike up.
"One more interruption and I'm shooting you all in your legs!"
They all stayed quiet, not wanting to further anger their leader. Hongjoong let out a sigh of relief.
"Now, as I was saying-"
"Ba ba ba, ba na na." The baby interrupted him as she tried to sing the song Wooyoung was previously singing.
They all stared in shock and adoration at her.
"Ok, that's actually fucking cute." Hongjoong admitted.
Seonghwa only giggled as he picked up his daughter and kissed her cheek.

Yunho tried shushing the whimpering baby underneath his desk.
"Buddy come on. You're going to get me in trouble. Now shush."
Having no alternative, he picked up his baby son, cradling him in his arms as he tried to keep him from making anymore noise. He cooed at him and even made funny faces, but the boy didn't seem to calm down.
"Why are you being like this?" Yunho pouted.
The baby nuzzled his face against his father's chest before opening his mouth against it. Yunho immediately pulled the baby a few inches off him.
"Ok I get it now. You're hungry. Please don't do that again. My body doesn't work like your mom's."
Setting the boy back in the carrier, Yunho reached inside the baby bag and got out the bottle and baby formula. He quickly mixed them together, careful not to spill any of it on his desk. He looked around and realized he had absolutely no idea how he was going to heat it up. When the baby began fussing again, he quickly stooped down, trying to quiet him down.
"Uhhh Yunho?"
Yunho hit his head as he quickly stood up, looking at Yeosang who was right in front of him with a folder. Yeosang noticed the baby bottle in his hand and snorted.
"Is that your new guilty pleasure?" He teased.
"I'm not in the mood Yeosang. In case you haven't noticed, I sneaked him in."
Yunho picked up his child and rocked him in his arms, trying to stop his crying.
"Hi junior." Yeosang waved.
Scanning the baby, Yunho and the bottle, Yeosang ended up deducing what was going on.
"Give me the bottle, I'll heat it up for you." Yeosang offered, taking the bottle away from him.
"You will? Thanks Yeo. I'd really appreciate it." Yunho thanked him.
"No problem..." Yeosang looked at the bottle, studying its structure and model.
"I kinda want to try out the new fire weapon I created and this might just be the perfect test subject..."
When he heard those words, Yunho quickly stopped Yeosang.
"A microwave will do Yeosang! Don't fucking use my son's bottle for one of your weird experiments!"
Yunho gasped when he realized he cussed in front of his kid.
"Don't tell your mom."
âĽđđŞđˇđ° đ¨đŽđ¸đźđŞđˇđ°
Yeosang carefully weighed the powder into the brown paper bags, careful not to go above the amount he needed. His eyes trailed to the tiny hand that tried reaching up for the contents he had.
"No no no sweetheart. Don't touch anything."
He put what he had in his hands down and picked up his daughter, setting her down and making her rest on top of a stack of books he had.
"Ok. Here you go. Play with this. Your mom says you like it." He handed her the rattle that was shaped like a chicken leg before going back to concentrate on his task.
The baby shook the rattle a few times before becoming bored with it. Instead, she was fascinated by all the intricate colors and strange devices inside her father's laboratory. Looking next to her, she saw a display of assorted test tubes that had different liquids in them. Curiously, her hand reached out to grab the red colored one. At that moment, Yeosang had finished weighing the stuff out and placed them in a container. When he looked back, he saw his daughter pulling out the test tube.
"No don't touch-"
Yeosang quickly scooped the baby up and covered her with his body as the tube fell to the floor, not only splattering the contents, but immediately setting off a tiny explosion that spread a horrible smelling gas in the air. Yeosang covered his daughter's face as he quickly got them out of the room. At that moment, Jongho came running down the hall.
"What was that?!" He immediately asked.
"One of the test tubes I was working on." Yeosang explained, as he scanned his daughter to make sure she was all right.
"Seriously Yeosang?! We've told you time and time again to be careful! How did it even happen?"
Yeosang immediately turned to his daughter, who was merely sucking on her thumb, looking at him with the most innocent eyes ever.
"You're lucky it was one of the least deadly ones and I got you out of there in time. Otherwise we'd both be laughing ourselves to death." Yeosang chuckled at her and kissed her forehead.
Jongho shook his head.
"I swear to god, if your daughter becomes another crazy scientist like you, I'm joining another gang."

The diminutive man strolled from one corner of the alley to another, sighing as he stared once again at his watch.
"Where the fuck are they?" He shook his head, hating people being late above anything else.
Finally hearing footsteps, he saw the two figures approach him. He smiled contentedly until he saw that one of them had a baby strapped to his chest.
"All right Changbin, we got the money now where's the drugs?" San asked, not yet giving him the bag of money.
Changbin looked at San, then back at the baby boy.
"Don't look at the baby, look at me." San gestured to his eyes.
Changbin raised an eyebrow at him before looking over at Wooyoung, who looked completely unfazed.
"Just don't even question it man." Wooyoung suggested.
Changbin hesitantly got out the package from his coat. He was about to hand it to them, but he stopped when he looked at the baby again.
"Don't look at the baby, look at me." San repeated himself.
"Look man! It's just feels completely unorthodox to make illegal transactions in front of an innocent baby ok?! Did you kidnap it or something?" Changbin scanned him.
San scoffed in offense.
"This is my kid! Can't you see the resemblance? He's as handsome as me."
Changbin raised an eyebrow.
"You're seriously bringing your kid.... you know what? Never mind."
Changbin opted for giving the package to Wooyoung and then taking the bag of money.
"Pleasure doing business with you."
San waved at him when he departed. As him and Wooyoung made their way back to the car, his son started babbling something incoherently. San looked down and patted his head.
"Yes I know he's a mean, grouchy dwarf. Don't worry about him."

Mingi sat down on the stool in front of the bartender, setting down the carrier on the chair next to him.
"I'm here." Mingi told the man who had his back turned.
"Oh Mingi you've come. Tell me what can I get-"
The pink haired man stopped when he saw the baby and pointed at her.
"Just give me my usual and don't worry about her. She's covered."
Mingi opened his trench coat and took out a baby bottle before taking the baby out of the carrier so he could feed her.
"You got the info Hyunjin?" Mingi lowered his voice.
Hyunjin rolled his eyes as he prepared him his drink.
"Mingi you brought a baby inside a bar. Forget trying to avoid unnecessary attention, everyone is already looking at you weird."
Mingi looked around, noticing a couple people staring at him as if he was crazy.
"Oh...right."
Hyunjin set the drink out in front of him before pulling out a folder and sneakily handing it to Mingi.
"Even got a few of the members' names gathered for you. Don't be fooled by their small numbers. These guys are very deadly and are slowly gaining momentum in the criminal world."
Mingi nodded and stuffed the folder in his coat. At that moment, his phone started ringing and he panicked when he saw who it was.
"Do me a favor. Hold her and cover her ears."
Hyunjin obeyed and cringed when Mingi fired a gun at the roof.
"I'm gonna need all of you to be quiet for a minute or else I'll put a bullet in your heads."
Mingi then quickly answered the phone, suddenly changing his tone.
"Hey baby. Oh nothing. I'm with Seonghwa, he wanted to see the baby.....no! I'm most definitely not working at the moment." He laughed awkwardly.
Hyunjin shook his head and looked down at the baby girl in his arms.
"Mind sharing some of your milk with me? I think I need it."

"Wooyoung? Do you see the target?" Yeosang's voice echoed through his ear piece.
Wooyoung casually tilted his head to the side.
"No. There's too many people. " Wooyoung answered casually.
He looked down when he heard his daughter sneeze.
"Bless you." Wooyoung cooed at her.
"I'm literally trying to put a bullet through a man's head and you're giving me your blessings?" Yeosang asked.
"Not you idiot! My princess just sneezed and-"
"Oh my gosh! What a lovely baby you have!"
Wooyoung turned to find a young woman standing in front of him, twirling her hair in her finger as she looked at him and his daughter.
"Thanks..." Wooyoung answered.
"Is she yours?" She asked, stepping closer to him, reaching her hand out.
"Yeah...mine." Wooyoung shifted in his seat, moving the baby so she wouldn't touch her wandering hands.
Wooyoung tried not to cringe as the girl didn't seem to get the hint and continued talking to him.
"Want me to put a bullet in her head?" Yeosang offered.
Wooyoung immediately declined the offer as quietly as possible, not hearing what the girl said until she repeated herself.
"I asked if there was a mom in the picture."
She tucked her hair behind her ear before sitting down next to Wooyoung, her hand brushing on his shoulder.
"Cause if not.....I could help out in more ways than one." She bit her lip.
Before Wooyoung could even respond, he was saved when you suddenly showed up.
"I'm giving you ten seconds to run before I pull the trigger."
The girl froze when she felt a gun pointed at her back. Wooyoung waved.
"Hi honey." He smiled.
"Don't 'honey' me. First you take our daughter out on a mission and then I find some skank trying to take my place?" You scoffed.
"Should have taken my offer when you had the chance." Yeosang poked fun at him.

Jongho kept his eyes on the road, occasionally looking at the rearview mirror to check on the little boy in the baby seat.
"Getting sleepy there buddy?" Jongho chuckled when he saw the baby's eyes open and close slowly.
"Don't worry. After we deliver this package, I promise I'll take you to get ice cream......just don't tell your mom I've been feeding you that before you're old enough."
Jongho began to sing softly, hoping it'll help the baby sleep faster. However when he looked at the rearview mirror again, he noticed a strange looking car tailing right behind him.
"Huh....strange..... very strange."
Jongho gripped the steering wheel tightly. Looking back at his son, he noticed he was now fully awake.
"Buckle up buddy cause we're in for a fun ride."
Shifting the gear, Jongho immediately pressed down on the accelerator before rapidly making a u-turn, momentarily confusing the car behind him. Jongho drifted through the different alleys, hoping to loose the car, but it still seemed to catch up to him. His son on the other hand, seemed to enjoy the fun ride.
"Oh shit." Jongho cursed when he saw you were calling.
Pressing the button, he answered your call.
"I just got off work, barely going back. Think you can handle the boy for a little bit longer?" You asked.
"Take all the time. I'm going to be late too."
Jongho made a rather sharp turn that had your son squealing excitedly. You immediately sensed something was off.
"You're on a mission aren't you?"
"Yeah and we kinda ran into some chasers." Jongho chuckled rather amused.
You sighed softly.
"Where are you?"
"Gangnam district. Near the old abandoned factory." He answered as he continued trying to loose the car behind him.
"Give me 5 minutes and I'll be there."
Jongho couldn't help but bite his lip at your words.
"God baby, I love you so much."
He then turned his attention to his son who was still having the time of his life.
"Hear that bud? Mommy is gonna be joining us soon."

Day 31: Veritaserum
186 days.
That's how long Draco had been held in the Department of Mysteries, trapped in a cell that barely left him enough room to lie down except when they came to take him out and interrogate him.
Draco'd relived the horrors of the past two years, over and over through their invasive questioning, through their digging around in his mind, through the imperious curse, and most recently through a stint of days spent with veritaserum flowing through his veins.
He heard their footsteps coming down the hallway, their voices recapping what they'd learned so far. Day 6 of veritaserum. He used his nail to scratch another line in the wall next to his thin mattress.
187 days.
Then he heard a third voice, a voice he would have recognized anywhere. "Veritaserum?" Potter asked, sounding incredulous for some reason. "But that's illegal."
"Auror Potter, I'll remind you that you're out of your jurisdiction here. You have no say in what happens or the means used to collect intelligence that is invaluable when it comes to protecting future generations."
"And," the man, whose breath always smelled stale and turned Draco's stomach, added, "There are no 'laws' during wartime when we need to catch criminals."
"The war is over," Potter replied, voice sharp and something in the pit of Draco's stomach thrilled at that.
"Out of your jurisdiction," the woman reminded.
A moment later, there was a sharp rap of a wand against the metal bar of his cell and the man called, "Let's go, Malfoy."
He stood, moving toward the door with his head down, and that was when he felt it; the crackle of Potter's magic around him like static electricity.
Draco couldn't resist looking up at that, meeting Potter's eyes. The green was blazing, he's furious and Draco wondered what (or whom) that fury was directed at. His fists were clenched at his sides, shoulders stiff.
Even with all of the obvious tension, Potter looked good, Draco thought; healthy, strong, handsome, like he had the entire world at his feet. Which, to be fair, he probably did. He wondered what Potter saw when he looked at him.
(Read more below the cut)
"Move," the woman snapped and Draco dropped his gaze from Potter, his thoughts weren't his own, not really. He couldn't afford to allow even more trouble in his mind.
He staggered down the hall, his legs feeling like they were made out of jelly, and flinched when the door to the white room opened and bright, sterile light spilled out over him. Draco made his way in and sat down in the same chair he always sat it, the shackles immediately chaining his wrists and ankles down. He fought the inevitable wave of panic as the woman walked over.
"Drink," she instructed, holding a vial to his lips.
He clenched his hands but did as he was told because it only made things worse when he didn't comply. The veritaserum flooded his mind, making his mouth feel loose and his mind feel unpleasantly open.
"Last time we talked about the treatment of muggles and muggleborns in your home under He-who-must-not-be-named, do you remember?"
"Yes," he replied.
"Today we'd like to hear about your complicity," the woman said. "We want to hear about everything that you did and that other people did to people who opposed you."
"What was it like to live in your home with He-who-must-not-be-named?"
"Horrible," Draco answered honestly, trying to keep the thoughts and memories at bay as long as he could. "I lived like a prisoner."
"The truth!" the man demanded, even though Draco couldn't have lied if he wanted to. He drew his hand back, preparing to strike Draco and Draco closed his eyes, bracing himself for the impact.
Then there was a surge of magic so strong that it made Draco breathless. He waited for the inevitable pain but there was nothing and when he opened his eyes it was to see that both of the unspeakables had collapsed forward onto the table and Potter was standing in front of him.
"Malfoy," he said and the tone of his voice made it seem like it wasn't the first time he'd said it. "Come on," he urged. "We don't have much time."
He reached out and Draco took his hand uncertainly. This couldn't be real, could it?
"Malfoy," Potter pleaded, "Please, we have to go."
Draco staggered to his feet and followed the other man down a winding set of hallways, through moving doors, and all manner of strange things before they reached a passage that wasn't dark and vaguely terrifying.
"Here," Potter said, handing him a vial. "It's polyjuice potion. You're going to look like unspeakable Harrison. Once you look like him, we're just going to walk straight out, do your best to look calm. As soon as we're outside I'm going to apparate us."
"Potter," he finally managed, "Why are you doing this?"
Potter looked at him then, really looked at him, "Can we talk about this later?" he asked. "I swear I'm not trying to trick you," he added. "Please. Just let me help you."
At this point, what did Draco have to lose? What could be worse than this? He took the potion from Potter's hand and quickly swallowed it down, trying not to gag at the unpleasant taste as his body shifted and changed.
"Keep your head down," Potter said, "Don't answer any questions. You'll still have the veritaserum in your bloodstream."
Draco nodded and Potter opened the door, it was like he morphed into a completely different person. He smiled jovially as he strode across the foyer, waving and greeting people every step of the way. Every eye in the room was on Potter and it made Draco's skin crawl to have attention focused so near to him.
It felt like an eternity but it couldn't have been more than 45 seconds before they were out of the door and Potter was offering him his elbow, "Harry Potter lives at Number 12 Grimmauld Place," he murmured.
And before Draco could ask what the bloody hell he was talking about, Potter was apparating the two of them away. They landed in the Black Ancestral Home and Draco was shocked. And confused.
So confused.
"Hold on," Potter said. "We're not out of the woods yet. Too many people know about this place." He picked up a copy of a book called Treasure Island off the side table. "Portkey," he explained quickly, "Hold on." And then as almost an after thought, he added, "Harry Potter lives at 4 Oceanview Lane."
Draco took the other side of the book and felt the hook and tug behind his belly button as they were moved through time and space.
This time when they landed, it was in soft, soft sand, and Draco staggered, trying to catch his balance. Potter clasped his elbow to steady him, "Alright?" he asked softly.
Draco nodded, "Yes," he found himself compelled to add, the Veritaserum still hadn't quite faded from his veins.
"Come on," Potter said, giving him a gentle tug toward a little cottage just up the beach.
It was a lovely little house, lots of windows and glass doors overlooking the ocean. The walls were painted in cool beiges and light blues and white curtains fluttered in the breeze.
"Are you hungry?" Potter called over his shoulder after he kicked off his shoes and headed deeper into the house.
"Starving," Draco replied and Potter turned to look at him, frowning.
"When is the last time you ate?"
He shook his head, "I don't know. Time passed funny in there. I tried to keep track," he said, "but I don't really know."
Potter's frown deepened, "Come on. Let me show you your room," he said. "I picked up some clothes for you but we'll have to go shopping later so you an pick out what you like."
"Potter," he said as he followed the other man toward the back of the house, "I don't understand."
"You're free, Draco," the other man said. "Well, not entirely because they'll be looking for you. But you're safe here, safe with me. I won't let them find you and I won't let them take you back," he added with a firm nod.
"Potter," he called again, "This doesn't even make sense."
"Please," Potter said, as though he was well aware of how little sense this all made. "I just," his shoulders slumped a bit, "I found out they were keeping you locked up in there like," he shook his head, "Like some-"
"Criminal?" Draco offered.
"Worse," Potter said, shaking his head. "And it was wrong and no one would listen to me. So this is the best I can do," he said, gesturing at the cottage around him. "A little house in the Seychelles. No one even knows this place exists except for Ron and Hermione," he added.
"i don't understand," Draco said, leaning against the wall to support himself.
"I know," Potter said, "Just. Can you trust me for now? We can talk about it more when you're not so exhausted. Come in," he added, gesturing to the room.
Draco stepped through the door to a room with hardwood floors and white walls, with a sliding glass door that lead out into the sand and the ocean beyond. The bed was covered in soft white bedding and a door at the side of the room led to a bathroom with a proper bathtub and a shower.
He was dreaming, he had to be.
"There are some things in the drawers over there for you to wear," Potter said, sounding a touch anxious. "We'll find you things you like better whenever you're ready."
He stepped over and reached out a hand to touch the bed but pulled up short when he caught sight of his filthy hands. "This is for me?" he asked, looking over at Potter.
"Yeah," he said, nodding. "There's a second room across the hall that I'm in, if you'd rather have that one, but I thought you might like to be able to see the ocean."
"I don't know what to say," he said.
"Say you'll stay," Potter asked. "At least until we can get your name cleared."
"I don't think that's ever going to happen."
Potter sighed, scrubbing a hand over his face. "Maybe, but can we just cross that bridge when we get there?" he asked.
"Okay," Draco said because this was all so strange, everything felt surreal, but Potter seemed to breathe a sigh of relief at his acquiescence.
"I'll go make us some lunch," he said quickly. "Do you want to freshen up first?"
Draco nodded, "If that's okay?"
"Yeah," Potter said, nodding, "Yeah. Anything you want." He gave Draco a little smile, "Towels are in the cupboard on the left when you go into the bathroom; there's soap, shampoo, conditioner, and the like in the shower," he added. "I'll be in the kitchen. Just shout if you need anything."
Draco watched him go, still very confused. But for the first time in a very long time, just a little bit hopeful.

âăťăťăť Feathery Ink [Karasuno Manager Series]
â Pairing: Karasuno x Manager! Reader
â Warning: none
â Notes: This is a separate series from Crisp Leaves. Similar to Crisp Leaves, manager in this story will be portrayed as a girl. She will be tall, around 170.5 cm (along 5â7ââ). This is just my appreciation towards tall girls, you guys are amazing.
Previous:Â âš Direct Sunlight âş | Next:Â âš Acceptance âş
⡠SUMMARY âś
You began to question if your existence is worth for the team or not.
âAh, Hitoka-chan, [Name]-chan. Are you done changing?â Shimizu asked, smiling down at both of you who waited on the yard.
The sky was already dark the moment practice was overâsomething you knew you have to get used somehow if you really want to become the teamâs manager in the future. However, what you didnât expect was how time was surely running quickly that you could ever imagine. Maybe because you thoroughly enjoyed on how the team fired up during practice.
Yachi clearly didnât expect her name to be mentioned so friendly and you didnât expect Shimizu to called out for you too. That and her next words almost had you yelped out of surprise. âIâll walk with you two, so hold on a sec. Iâm going to change too.â
âNo, itâs okay! I actually think I should be walking with you, or something, orâŚ!â
âDonât worry about it.â Dismissing the blondeâs reluctance, Shimizu jogged towards the changing room and leaving the two of you alone once again. Well, at least Yachi had any decency to reply while you just gaped at the seniorâs figureâyou found yourself being extremely rude and embarrassing.
âS-Shimizu-senpai is really nice, huh?â you stuttered, not knowing how to make it sound right. But youâre honest with your wordsâShimizu treated you nicely and you didnât once feel uncomfortable around her.
âY-yeah,â Yachi replied, nodding stiffly.
âWhatâs wrong, sensei? Why the serious face?â Another voice managed to caught both of your attention. It came from the still lit gymâyou noticed that it was Coach Ukaiâs and the question directed to Takeda-sensei. Them being quite close with the open-window made their conversation could be heard clearly.
âOh, well, apparently the bus we were supposed to take for the away games in Tokyo was booked by another club so it doesnât look like weâll get it. It looks like itâs going to cost us a lot more than expected so I was trying to figure out what to do.â
âIâll try talking to a few more alumni.â Coach Ukai hummed in understanding. âIâm sure this problem will come up again in the future.â
âI apologize. Iâll try reaching out as well. Well, if all else fails, I do have some savings.â
âNo, no, no! You need to save that for your future wedding or something. And donât do that with your hand!â
âYachi-san! [Name]-san!!â while Yachi stiffened from the energetic call, you blinked as Hinata skidded to stop right in front of you two. âYachi-san, [Name]-san, are you going to be our manager!?â
âUh, um-â
âWell, Hinata-kun-â
âYou will, right!?â
âHey, first-year girls, hey!â this time it was Tanaka and Nishinoya, looking at Yachi and you in confidence.
âWe hope that you will join the Karasuno High School volleyball team.â Nishinoya said.
âHuh?â you and Yachi replied in confusion, with limited vocabulary.
âWhen you two are around, Kiyoko-san talks a lot.â Tanaka continued. It earned them both a smack on the head along with scolding from the teamâs captain almost instantly.
âWhat kind of invitation is that, you idiots!?â
âSorry these guys are so stupid,â Sugawara apologized in a more relaxed wayâyouâre guessing heâs already used with these twoâs antics.
âN-No, not at all!â Yachi shook her head frantically.
âItâs okayâŚâ you muttered, not sure how to reply that without sounding rude.
Yachi and you both knew itâs quite a shock to know Shimizu was so eager to have you in the team to help despite almost everything. For Yachi, she didnât have any experience or knowledge about volleyball and considered herself an extra whoâs not worth of her position. She didnât want to be a hindrance and you understood.
You? You didnât particularly have any reason to not join and to join. You sure have enough experience from middle school, although it was brief. Your brother loves volleyball so everything about it is already crammed inside your head without your consent. As a manager, you could rate your skill as 5ânothing too grand and nothing too special, too plain maybe could be the right word.
For a really high-spirited team which eager to grow, youâre too⌠plain. Thereâs no place for a monotone person like you in a club full of color.
With that, you began to question if your existence is worth for the team or not.
.
.
âIs something troubling you two?â
If Yachiâs staring at the empty club application in her hands, then youâre staring at the empty changing locker. Surely, Shimizu noticed your antics.
âBy the way, I did play sports, but I had no prior experience with volleyball or being a manager,â your senior admitted. âI donât think everyone has to like something before giving it a try. I donât think you need an unwavering will or lofty move just to get started. Sometimes things that you start on a whim end up becoming very important to you, too. To get started, I think you just need a little bit of curiosity. And also a leap of faith.â
A leap of faith.
You found yourself mulling over her words.
.
.
This time, Shimizu told you that itâs fine to showed up at practice without having to wear the schoolâs gym clothesâjust white shirt to match the team and jogger pants would do.
âOuginishi will arrive in four and a half hours!â Shimizu announced as she began to changed to her indoor shoes. Once she got the series of replies, she turned to you two. âAlright, Hitoka-chan, would you line up some chairs around the court there? Letâs see⌠eight of them!â
âUh, right!â
âAnd [Name]-chan, could you prepare the water bottles? The drinking fountainâs not far from here, just around the corner.â
âOkay, and the protein mixture is right over there, right? The blue box-â You halted your words, shoulders immediately tensed from the automatic question which tumbled from your tongue. Shimizuâs eyes widened before she smiled, even wider one than before.
âThatâs right! You really know a lot, itâs amazing!â
Flustered over her praises, you excused yourself immediatelyâsnatching the rack of bottles and bolted towards the nearest drinking fountain. After finished filling them up, you poured each packet for each bottle and shook it to get it mixed properly. You didnât even notice how fast your hand was moving and noticing that all the bottles were ready.
Once you were back, you put the rack on the designated place and jogged towards Yachiâmaybe she would need help moving the chairs.
âWha? How would I know?â Kageyama questioned, raising a browâprobably answering the conversation happened between him and Hinata which you didnât know. âIs there a reason you want to eat when youâre hungry?â
âRight? HmmâŚâ Hinata hummed.
âAnd where are the water bottles?â Kageyama questioned, looking left and right.
âHere,â You gave one to him, the one you purposely not mix with anything. âI already filled it with water. You have your own protein drink, right?â
You noticed that the raven-haired boy already pulled a package with different color so you knew he had his own choice of protein drink and brought it. Kageyama muttered a thank you, taking the bottle from your hand after you opened the lid so he didnât have to juggle with the package he held.
âHow do you know about that, [Name]-san!?â Hinata questioned, eyes shining. âItâs almost like youâre reading minds!â
âH-Huh? Iâm just observing, I guessâŚâ
âReally!? Thatâs awesome!!â
Yachi was right, itâs like being shone under the intensely bright sun if youâre talking to Hinata.
.
.
You were juggling between manager duties, studying in your own, and tutoring Hinata and Kageyama for the upcoming test. Itâs quite difficult, but teaching others also helped you memorized the material betterâthat and also finding out terms that could help the two.
âSo, âtoâ is helping in referring on where do you want to go in this word here.â You explained, circling the word. âFor example, âI want to go to the gymâ.â
After tutoring both Hinata and Kageyama for some time, you learned that the two would literally remember anything if itâs sports-relatedâespecially volley ball. So, it became your best shot in cramming the materials into their head.
âI see!â Hinata exclaimed, furiously writing down the correct form of sentence, while Kageyama nodded enthusiastically.
âOh, itâs already this late,â you muttered as you looked at the clock. âTime sure flew by.â
âYouâre right!â Hinata followed your line of sight. âI guess itâs time to go home! Thank you, [Name]-san! Your explanation is really easy to understand!â
âIâm glad I could be of any help,â you smiled in return.
âAnd after this, weâll go to Tokyo together!â the orange haired boy exclaimed. âYouâre coming too, right, [Name]-san!?â
âUhm, about thatâŚâ You honestly didnât know how to respondâyou couldnât be a trial manager forever, itâs either completely reject the idea or finally joining as an official member. If you did join, do you even have a role in it? Thereâs Shimizu and Yachi already, thereâs no need for a third manager. âThereâs already Hitoka-chan and Shimizu-senpai, right?â
âYeah! You should join too!â
âDo I really have a place there?â you questioned out loud. âI mean⌠do I can really be of any help? Two managers are already enough, besides I donât have anything to offer to the team either. I canât do anything important to help the team grow strongerâŚâ
âWhat do you mean!?â Hinataâs shriek almost made your heart jump out from your chest.
âFilling water bottles, washing bibs, mopping the floor, tidying the balls, itâs all important.â Surprisingly, Kageyama was the one who spoke. âItâs simple but important. Without it, we will have double work and itâs exhausting.â
Hinata nodded vigorously. âKageyamaâs right!â
âDo you really need to do something grand to join something?â the raven-haired then questioned. âWhile you think itâs nothing, the others donât think so. The one who judge whether your actions leave a mark or not isnât you, itâs the team. So, quit overthinking. Do what you want.â
Itâs like being doused with cold waterâit slapped you awake in an unexpected way.
âI guess I will,â you smiled, heart feeling lighter than before. âThank you, Kageyama-kun, Hinata-kun.â
.
.
âSo, weâve finished our exams and starting today, Yachi-san and Otohaku-san will officially be joining us as our managers.â
In the hot summer day, you found yourself back in the gym, but this time standing beside Sawamura and a fidgeting Yachi. She didnât seem to be uncomfortable, maybe itâs a new feeling of excitement for herâyou completely understand because you felt the same.
âHere,â Shimizu went up to the both of youâhanding identical black jersey which the team also owned. The inky black material with white broderie sent torrents of emotions towards you, instantly the corner of your eyes felt as if it was burning.
âReady, and-â
âWelcome to Karasuno High School Volleyball Club!!â
You found yourself bowing ninety-degrees, hugging the jacket tightly against your chest. âItâs a pleasure working with you!â

deku had never anticipated someone like you would be the source of all his stress, pleasure, and love. despite being quirkless and utterly small compared to deku himself, you were always so kind. you were always there to take his hand and help him up when bakugou would push him down. you were always there to ruffle his hair and reassure him heâd do great on an exam. you were always there to offer him a snack or some extra lunch, even if you were hungry.
it left deku confused in the dust, as a child and still now, completely lost in how or why you were so nice to him. even when he took off to pursue his career of being a pro hero, which he was very successful in doing, you were still there to visit him or patch up his scratches.
in his bright green eyes and from beneath his curly green hair, this was enough for anyone to reserve the right to feel a burning hatred towards your significant other. he watched in anger as you sat on that blue-eyed idiotâs lap, tangling your fingers in his dark hair and whispering dirty nothings into his ear. he watched in jealousy as a stupid smirk spread across his lips, well aware there was something threatening to spring upwards as he palmed the fat of your thigh in response.
much to his dismay, he couldnât watch you all hours of the day due to hero work. that didnât mean he didnât keep tabs on you however, which he accomplished by using his friends to update him on your whereabouts. who you were with, what you were doing, what you were wearing, what time you got home, when you fell asleep and when you wake up- he knew everything.
at the end of the day, he was still your best friend. you had invited him over one evening and you were telling him about your day, him smiling in response and just looking at you in awe, listening to you babble away.
âand then it started raining! so i had to run to my car and i ended up slipping, see?â you pointed towards your thigh where a large, and honestly, painful looking scrape was. his eyes widened in his response as he analyzed the mark. âthat looks like it mustâve hurt, bunny.â
your heart repeated that same fluttering that it has been ever since you were teenagers at response to that nickname of yours. youâd think by now youâd have gotten used to it, huh?
âit did! and i was just laying there like an idiot in the rain for a good two minutes.â you laughed, emphasizing the word idiot. he chuckled in response, seemingly distracted with something else as he admired your smile and the way it lit up your entire cozy apartment.
âhey, you okay?â you asked suddenly, running a hand through his locks, the two of you seated on your sofa with the tv on in front of you. naturally as best friends, the two of you have had a few intimate moments, but they were always platonic. even though he knew this, he loved you too much for his breath not to hitch at the feeling of your soft fingertips playing with his hair.
âoh! yeah, i-iâm fine!â he chuckled, scratching the back of his neck and beaming brightly. âhero work just gets me tired and all, you know?â of course you didnât know. what was he thinking saying that? you were always insecure of being quirkless, your childhood bully, bakugou, not being any help.
you pulled your hand back and looked away, your eyelids slightly lowering themselves, giving you a less excited expression. deku felt his heart drop and his stomach turn inside out, he hated himself for getting so caught up in his own thoughts of fluffy handcuffs adorning your wrists and your bodies colliding that he had forgotten to think before speaking.
âi didnât mean it like that, bunny!â he said quickly, reaching out to grab your hand when you dodged him. âwhat are you-â
âthis isnât the first time youâve said something like that, deku.â you muttered, immediately questioning yourself afterwards. were you being too sensitive? âeven if you didnât mean it this time, i- i just hate hearing you say itâŚâ your eyes locked into the floor, your fingers now fiddling with each other.
although deku didnât always have the strongest memory, he never failed to remember that some things in the world were far too fragile to be left out there. that they were too sensitive and too kind and too innocent to be yelled at. but sometimes- and only sometimes, did they deserve to be punished.
he did his best to soften his voice before scooting closer and placing a much larger and scarred up hand on top of yours. âbunny, i really didnât mean it this time. you know that thereâs nothing wrong with being quirkless, right?â he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear, now revealing your tear-stained side profile.
head now resting on his chest as he sat next to you, wrapping his arms around you in attempt to comfort you, his heart beating through his clothes. âiâve always wanted to be a hero, since we were little. pathetic how i thought i actually had a chanceâŚâ you mumbled into his chest, blinking back more tears and suppressing a sniffle. âwhen you got into U.A., and your quirk developed late, i was sâ happy ferâ you. i looked up to you and i- i always wa-wanted to be jusâ like y-you.â your words became more jumbled as your tears welled up and you hiccuped multiple times.
deku was then reminded of the significant fact that he never told you the truth about his quirk, and he never planned to. always wanted to be like him, huh? he allowed you to cry into his chest, enveloping you in all of the possible warmth that he could, feeling his opportunity nearing closer and closer.
âlooked up to me? hah⌠bunny, i always looked up to you.â he tilted your chin up and wiped a tear away with his calloused thumb, his strong arms still around your smaller frame. âyouâve always been so kind and intelligent, and a lot stronger than me. hell, you stood up to kacchan when i couldnât!â
a small smile worked itâs way onto your lips in response. âthatâs my bunny, thereâs that smile..â deku said, and you giggled, hugging him tighter than before. âaah, thanks deku.â you sighed, âmaybe i was being a little, smh- dramatic.â you sniffled, shrugging your shoulders.
ânot at all⌠hey, how about some of your favorite tea? you know i make it the best!â he said enthusiastically as you curled up with a blanket that he had gotten you on your last birthday. âwhy not?â you giggled as he walked into the kitchen and prepared your drink.
//
an unfamiliar, soft sensation could be felt on your wrists, restraining you from moving. the surface you were on was particularly soft and comfortable, and you hazily opened your eyes to be met with a large room. you looked up and spotted a pair of fluffy, pink handcuffs locked tightly onto your wrists above your head, keeping you restrained to the white, wooden headboard.
the four walls were painted a baby pink, a large mirror, decorated with swirls on the edges hanging in the middle, and the entire room lined with stuffies, trinkets, pillows and everything soft. from what you could see, the door had more locks on it than you could count with your blurred vision, and surely, heavy approaching footsteps could be heard from the other side of the door.
you held your breath and closed your eyes, turning your head and pretending to be asleep. your lips parted in a gentle breath for air, your body remaining still as the unknown person entered the room and locked the door behind them. you felt the right side of the bed dip as if someone was looming over you, attempting to get a better look at something.
âi know youâre awake, bunny. i heard you tugging at the pretty little handcuffs.â your eyes snapped open at the sound of your best friendâs voice. his eyes locked with yours as he set a plate down beside the bed and pulled you to sit up straight. âhey, pretty girl.â
âd-deku?â you stuttered, eyes widening as the feeling in your legs was now returning. âyes, my love?â he replied, the plate of food now in his lap as he began to cut the piece of meat for you. âwhat- what the hell is going on? why am i handcuffed to this bed? where even am i?â
âshh, shh⌠relax, bunny. eat a little first, i made your favorite!â he shoved the piece of steak up against your lips using the fork and you shook your head now. his knuckles gripped the fork so tightly they turned white, and so you complied and chewed. âremember how i told you i was renovating my basement? welcome! i made it all pretty and comfortable for you! i have all your favorite colors and i got all these fluffy plushies and blankets!â he said with too much excitement.
âahh!â his eyes lit up, âweâre gonna have so much fun here, for the rest of forever!â you swallowed the bite you took before he was already offering you more, obviously eager to see you full. âdeku⌠iâm still confused here. uncuff me, now.â
âtch⌠youâre really ungrateful, you know.â he muttered, continuing to feed you and caress you. âhow am i ungrateful, huh?â you asked furiously, a complete fool for thinking you could even remotely amount to his level. you locked your eyes with his as he set the food to the side and forced you to drink water and remain hydrated. beyond his insane thought process and maniacal grins, even an idiot could see he still cared.
âfirst, i wake up in some completely random room, handcuffed to a bed! and then you come in here, offer me a meal, and then when i want to be uncuffed, im ungrateful? deku, you need to ex-â he leaned in a cut you off completely, your lips attaching.
you turned your head in attempt to look away, to which he grabbed your chin and held you still. his hands trailing down to between your thighs, effortlessly spreading them apart, your fighting back doing nothing at all. his hands tightened their grips on your inner thighs as his lips continued on your neck. he found your hopeless squirming adorable, but irritating.
âgah⌠stay still.â his tone firmed and his eyes narrowed, again looking into yours. youâd seen him mad before, of course, and youâd seen him determined and impatient and annoyed, but he was never so intimidating towards you. deku realized this shortly after, immediately softening his tone as he dipped his head down to between your legs, nibbling at the fat of your thighs.
âwhat are you- aahâŚâ you gasped suddenly, your head snapping downwards to see his tongue run a long, clean lick over your slit from on top of your cute little panties. you knew you stood no chance against the number one hero, and youâd never admit to the growing dampness between your legs. your thighs threatened to grind together as his tongue and teeth continued teasing the edges of your panties, avoiding where you genuinely needed him.
âdeku, pl-please donâ do th-this.â you gulped down, a tear making itâs way down your cheek. he looked up at you and smiled brightly and pulled down your panties, throwing them to the side, much to your confusion. âbut look at you, bunny..â he ran two fingers along your now naked, glistening cunt as your juices coated them. âyouâre completely soaked for me. you donât actually want me to stop, do you? hmm..âhe hummed.
âi⌠i donâtâŚâ you struggled desperately to find words as your cheeks flushed red at the feeling of his eyes seeing things no one else ever has before. ârightâŚâ he smugly said both at the feeling of knowing how much you were second guessing yourself, and seeing you blush so furiously, spreading your legs apart even further, holding you down once again, effortlessly. ânow just be my good bunny and take it.â
his words sent you over the fucking edge, your thighs grinding together for some type of friction as he laughed with a sense of superiority, now lying completely on his stomach and lapping at your folds. he wasted no time, and the feeling of his wet tongue slide across your womanhood was a sensation you were unfamiliar with. the last ounce of your strength was used when fighting back, and so you just lied there and took it, just like deku said.
your sweet taste drove him more insane than he already was. he watched as your eyes rolled to the back of your head and your brows knitted together, and he swore he fell in love with you all over again. his thumb was brought to your clit before he ran careful circles over it, blowing hot air against your pussy when you attempted to squirm away, causing goosebumps to rise against your skin. you could feel him smirking against you, and at this point you didnât really care.
âde-deku⌠iâm- what the f-fuck..â you were at a loss for words. obviously you knew what an orgasm was, youâre not an idiot. this time was different than all of the other times you had willingly explored there on your own. it was something so much stronger, so much better. âi know, bunny. go ahead pretty girl⌠cum for me.â he spoke, muffled against your juices and folds.
his command was all it took for you to feel a strong coil within your stomach snap, and your mouth formed a silent âO,â shape as your body shook in pleasure and you saw white spots all over your vision. your orgasm washed over you like a crashing wave, your desperate and pathetic fingers digging into the soft handcuffs you still wore.
âdeku? âm tired nowâŚâ you mumbled in response to him unzipping his pants and undoing your handcuffs. âalready?â he said playfully, but his face was nothing but serious. you nodded and hummed quietly in response as he looked down at you, noting how angelic you looked in this warm lighting that he had set up throughout the room using small lamps, cozy lights, and candles. not real candles, of course- what if you got burned when he wasnât there?
âweâre not done yet, pretty girl. on your knees.â he looked down at you as he stood at the foot of the bed, watching you crawl over to him. you looked up at him, unsure of what to do next. âwhy am i here?â his eyes widened in realization that you actually didnât know what to do this time, and it only made him more excited and honored to be your first. he pulled his pants down a little more, revealing his black boxers and a huge bulge.
âgo ahead, take it out.â you hesitantly reached towards the bulge and pulled his boxers down, his large and throbbing member springing up and slapping you right in the nose. âowâŚâ you mumbled to yourself, and deku laughed. âfuck, youâre so cute. now take it in your hands and pump it a few times, use that pretty mouth.â
you ran your fingers across the tip, not knowing how much that stimulated him. after hearing a soft grunt when you ran your thumb across the tip, dragging his pre-cum along a large vein down the base, you assumed it was a good thing. your eyes explored the strange new thing as he took a fist of your hair. you looked up at him and winced at the sudden sting in your scalp.
âsuck on it, bunny. use your mouth.â he repeated again, growing impatient. you grew determined to make him feel good too, all thoughts of fighting back leaving your mind. your hand nearly wrapped around his entire girth, but he was too thick for your smaller hands to do so. once again, hesitantly, you kitten-licked the tip a few times as his eyes shut calmly for a moment. your warm mouth wrapped around the tip as he basked in the feeling of the wetness, you released it with an unintentional pop.
âlike this?â you asked innocently as he looked down to watch you suck his length, moving down slowly as you attempted to take all of him in your mouth. you could only go halfway before he hit the back of your throat, and when you gagged cutely around him, the grip on your hair tightened and a quiet whimper escaped the back of his throat. you picked up the pace in response and sucked even more furiously as best as you could, repeatedly gagging and hollowing your cheeks. ây-yeah⌠aauhh, jusâ like that, bunny.â
you continued your sucking and gentle pumping and tongue swirling around him as he continued to yank at your hair and admire your tear stained face and saliva covered mouth and throat. âaah.. yerâ sure youâve n-never.. mgh, done this before?â he struggled to speak due to his many grunts and moans.
you nodded quietly as you felt him harden and pulsate in your mouth, repeatedly hitting the back of your throat. he suddenly pulled your hair, hard, and you winced loudly. he got down to your level and cleaned your face using his hand and dragged a thumb across your lip, consumed in the way tears pricked at your eyes just for him. âwh-what was that for? âm not done.â you muttered, reaching towards his cock when he stopped you with a chuckle and a deranged grin.
âlike it that much, hm? weâre not done yet, bunny. donât worry.â you tilted your head, your eyes then widening. ây-you mean, weâre gonna..â you trailed off as he gently pushed you down by your shoulders onto you back, crawling on top of you and hovering over your body. he cupped your cheek with one large hand and used his knee to spread your thighs apart. he clicked his tongue and trailed kisses from your jaw down your neck to between the valley of your breasts, looking up at you with his emerald green orbs.
âdonât act clueless, bunny. i know youâve thought about getting touched down here by a real man.â he chuckled, slapping his length against your cunt two times, causing you to jump. âd-deku, please don-â your own words were caught in your throat when he slid the first few centimeters in, causing you to gasp and tug roughly on your handcuffs. âg-get off.. aauh..â you whimpered, attempting to push him off of you, clearly doing nothing. you fought the growing sting in your velvety walls as he slowly inched in.Â
âits okay, pretty girl. a little bit at a time..â he whispered into your ear, causing your walls to clench around his first few inches, to which he smirked and nibbled on your jaw.  âthatâs it... good girl.â he praised as he filled you up completely. deku was so overwhelmed with the pleasure of his bunny wrapped around his cock, and the reality that he was your first that he forgot to wait for you to adjust before pulling out and thrusting back in.
âdeku!â you cried out in pain as his eyes widened and he immediately wrapped his arms around you, hugging you into his chest. âiâm so sorry,â he rapidly apologized over and over again, claiming he lost control and would wait now. âi-it hurts...â you muttered into his neck before nodding a minute later, signalling he could now move. he slowly pulled out and thrust back in, his tip barely brushing up against your cervix. he moved once more and a swirling pool of pleasure slowly took over any remnants of pain.Â
âmmph.. faster, deku.â you mewled out his nickname that youâve had for him since you were little, and his heart picked up the pace before looking into your eyes and drowning in your expression as he slid in and out of you, your walls pulsating tightly around him, your thighs and his balls now soaked in your juices. âfuck... aauh, youâre such a good fucking girl for me, hah.â he said in a cocky tone, now slamming into you relentlessly.
âwhile weâre here,â he said, his pace growing sloppier by the second. âletâs get one thing crystal clear.â he continued, grabbing your jaw and forcing you to look at his flushed face, his cock still pounding into your sloppy cunt, the lewd noises of him fucking you filling the room. âyouâre mine, all fucking mine. this fucking pussy,â he said, punctuating his sentence with a light slap against your folds. âthis body, that cute little expression in your eyes, and everything else about you belongs to me. not that blue-eyed shit-faced bitch.â he raised his voice causing you to flinch.
âweâre clear with that, arenât we?â he asked as your eyes rolled into the back of your head due to him continuously hitting that spot with the tip of his member. âhey,â he growled, bringing a throat to your neck and squeezing it tightly, completely cutting off your oxygen. you clawed at his hand as best as you could despite your handcuffs, and your face grew a bright pink and almost purple. he hated slapping you or choking you or tying you up, and he hated himself for getting excited at that fearful look in your glistening eyes. he released his grip on your throat and you gasped desperately for air, glaring at him. âfucking answer me.âÂ
ây-yeah, mhnm...â you moaned out, still recovering from being choked. your pussy clenched around him as you felt your second, much stronger, orgasm nearing. he felt his own nearing as well, your beautiful moans not helping in holding him back. âyeah, what?â he smirked, knowing he was pushing your limits. ây-yeah, weâre ..mhgn, clear!â you yelled in frustration as he got a kick out of it, enjoying the idea of you thinking you could raise your voice at him.Â
âyou know what?â he pulled out rapidly, cumming all over your stomach before lying beside you, leaving you empty and unsatisfied. âwh-what?â you stuttered in shock and irritation, grinding your thighs together for some type of friction as you angrily yanked on your handcuffs. ânow...â he kissed the tip of your nose and smiled at you brightly, as if all of this was amusing. âyou donât get to finish!â he exclaimed happily, giggling shortly after as you struggled and tugged at your restraints.Â
âwhy?â you questioned the green-haired man, who said nothing. he wrapped a strong arm around your needy body and fought the urge to play with your clit using his fingertips. âwhy, deku? this isnât fair!â you whined as he chuckled dryly and tightened the soft handcuffs. ânothing is fair, my love. i have another shift now, so iâll be gone for a few hours. need anything?â he asked in a condescending tone, knowing you would motion towards your dripping, aching cunt, which he wouldnât help you with. he didnât care to help your needy pussy.
he got up and grabbed the silver key he used to previously lock the basement door, glancing back at your distressed eyes one more time before leaving and slamming the door shut.Â
âmaybe next time you wonât get some silly idea in that pretty little head of yours that you can raise your voice with me.âÂ

Looking around his throne, Katsuki couldnât help but scoff at what came to his mind. He had everything a chief could want, but it still wasnât enough for the young, barbaric male. Vast and grand was his home. People were happy, going about their day, harvest due and bountiful, the river running steady and clean.Â
Though, he was still missing a vital element to his life. Someone to make him happy, to have by his side and call his own. So the only thing he had left to need or want was someone to walk into battle with him, because not just any person would.Â
No, they had to have a few key traits to meet his standards. They needed to have a willingness to fight, to want to protect those around him and themselves with everything they had. They had to be able to take flack and a joke but also be serious when the time came. They had to be able to take no shit from anyone and make sure to be willing to put others in their place if they went out of line.
It wasnât much! HonestlyâŚOr at least he thought so.Â
â...ugou, Bakugou!â A voice snapped him from his thoughts as he glanced at his adviser, unhappy over the fact he was interrupted from his thoughts.Â
âWhat is it?â Katsuki questioned as he lazily shifted his attention to the man standing at his right side.Â
âAs I was saying, there have been some sightings of strangely coloured dragons in the nearby valleys. We do not know if it is one or more or if theyâre passing by or staying. Moreover, they have yet to attack the villages, but it would be wise to at least investigate the surrounding areas before anything happens,â his assistant spoke as he looked for what the King was going to do.Â
Taking a moment, Katsuki couldnât help but smile as he got up and began to stretch. âEijirou, prepare for a flight. It seems there might be someone that needs a reminder of who those valleys belong to.âÂ
Though to the Bakugou family dragons were revered and seen as good omens, there was a limit. Dragons that fought over territory could be destructive and wipe entire lands from existence, so if there was ever more than one in an area it could prove to be a bad omen instead.
One dragon or one family were seen as protecting the lands, keeping invaders at bay and being loyal by nature. Though another one could offset the balance, should they prove to be hungry or hostile. The valleys in which the Bakugous lived were famous for having the longest standing relationship with the red dragons of the Kirishima clan. They had served one another for generations with the latest duo being that of the Barbarian King Katsuki Bakugou, son of the late Chieftess Mitsuki Bakugou, and the dragon that protected the lands, Eijirou Kirishima, son to late Hikori Kirishima.
Standing at seven feet, the mostly human nodded and saluted as he walked with his friend outside. âYes, sir.â He beamed happily, seemingly excited by the prospect of seeing another dragon. âThough, what are your instructions, should they prove hostile?âÂ
âHostile?â Katsuki mused, placing a hand to his chin as the other morphed into that of a forty-foot-long dragon from the tip of his nose to the very end of his arrow-pointed tail. Once finished, Kirishima leaned down to lower his wing, letting Katsuki get on by walking up the thin bone of the arch of his wing and holding onto his spines, climbing all the way to behind the red horns that adorned his head. âShould the dragon wish to try and stay, we will start through the diplomatic route.âÂ
That was the thing about Katsuki. For all his bloodlust and anger, he was quite the strategist when it came to monsters several times his size. Having worked with Eijirou for some time, they had built up a bond of trust valuable for when trouble arose.Â
âShould that fail, we will have to take things up a notch. I would like to avoid a fight if at all possible.â He sighed as he clung to the horn while the other took off. âThe valley is full of fish making their way upstream for the breeding season,â he muttered before groaning and slapping his face as he remembered something, getting even more irritated.Â
âIt could be a female dragon,â he groaned, looking down to Eijirou. âWith breeding season approaching, it could prove very troublesome,â he grumbled as he lay down to keep low as Eijirou took to the sky.Â
âHm,â came a deep rumble from the beast.
A female dragon would be far better than a male should they be able to move it along. It could prove worse in the long run, though, as other males came to try and have their chance, destroying the local landscape fighting over the female.Â
âNot going to be influenced? I know youâre a young male.â Katsuki snickered as the dragon grunted and shook slightly in a ânoâ. âDonât worry, whatever happens weâll sort it,â he offered quietly as he calmed down to focus on the mission at hand.Â
They took to the base of the mountains and looked for any signs of disturbance. With fear running though the nearest village, it was clear to see that the crops were half unattended and in the middle of being harvested. âIâm going to go take a look at the surrounding areas and talk to the locals. You go on up the mountain and scout that out,â the Chief commanded. With a short huff and a nod, Eijirou turned to slowly and carefully make his way up and around the mountains.Â
It wasnât long before Eijirou returned with some news. Meeting in the center of town, the dragon descended slowly and waited for Katsuki to approach before he spoke. âI found a trail of blood from the ground leading up to a cave roughly halfway up the mountain.Â
Nodding, Katsuki signaled for Eijirou to lower himself so he could climb onto his back. âSounds about right. The locals saw a figure flying unsteadily across the sky and into the mountain. There was a loud thump before all went silent. Itâs more than likely a dragon. It hasnât done harm to the villagers yet, though, so a slow, quiet and careful approach is needed.â
Coming to the entrance of the cave, Katsuki hopped off Eijirou, immediately noticing the plants had been recently crushed and a splattering of dried blood was leading into the cave. Looking up to Eijirou, he nodded and quietly led the way in. Eijirou used a small breath to light the torch that Katsuki would have to use to see.Â
It didnât take them long to find the cause of the blood and crushed plants. Lying in front of them was a bronze dragon just as large as Kirishima, if not bigger, bleeding heavily from itâs hind leg, belly and face.Â
âHoly shit,â Katsukimuttered as he looked over the sight. He froze as the dragon raised its head. Chuckling, you looked over at Katsuki and Eijirou. âIf you have come to kill me, at least make it swift.âÂ
âTch, donât lump me with most humans,â Katsuki stated as he approached you, looking over the wounds. A huffing could be heard as he made his way closer, your muscles tense and beady eyes watching his form, ready to attack should harm come. âIâm a Bakugou. We donât harm your kind.âÂ
âYou may not harm but you enslave. I feel sorry for the red scaled one over there. Forced to serve you like their ancestors,â you mumbled, laying your head down and closing your eyes to rest.Â
Eijirou huffed before he sat down. âIâm not. Itâs nice to have lands that we donât have to fight over and live in harmony with humans,â he protested, watching as Katsuki assessed the wounds. âI am from the Kirishima clan.â He beamed, almost a little too excited to say so. âItâs nice to see another shade of red around here. Normally those of the Shinsou clan are around these areas.â Eijirou started, tilting his head to the side. âSo what brings you here?â he mused.Â
Which was how you explained your side of the story. It wasnât uncommon for humans to attack those of draconic race because of the first dragons causing havoc and turmoil for humankind. You were a young dragon who still had not found some land to live in. So, you were aimlessly looking around for somewhere to sleep before you were ambushed by a kingdom that had a bad past with dragons, driving you out.Â
âWell,â Katsuki started as he backed off. âIf you revert into your human form, we can take you back and give you medical aid. Iâm not about to let a creature like you just die pathetically cold and alone in such a depressing state.âÂ
With that, they watched as your form changed into a bloodstained, corseted, sleeveless dress, wings still visible with a tail barely peeking from beneath your long skirt. Their eyes lingered for a little too long to be completely respectful. Â
Getting up from where he lay, Eijirou gently enclosed you in his claws, protecting you, letting Katsuki onto his back before taking off back to the kingdom to give you the aid you needed.Â
~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The next thing you knew, you were waking up to some argument going on outside, though you took no heed to it. After all, you would need to at least stay to repay the kindness the human has shown you before taking your leave.Â
As the flap to the tent opened, you looked up at the figure that came to inspect you in the cot. âHow are you feeling?â The one that entered had torn red wings and a thin arrow-headed tail much like that of the dragon youâd seen earlier.Â
âMuch better, thanks.â He watched you as you got up to move around.
âYeah, my mother is a great healer.â The man beamed proudly before his face dropped for a moment in realisation. âOh, thatâs right! Iâm Eijirou Kirishima!â He offered a hand for you to shake as he introduced yourself. âIâm Katsukiâs dragon companion. Speaking of which, when you feel up to it, he wants to see you in the throne room. Heâs currently occupied with some business, so why not come later tonight before dinner? He wants to talk to you about some things.â
âAh I seeâ You nodded in agreement though still clearly wary of him.Â
âYeah, my mom specialises in herbal and magical treatments for dragons. You should be fighting fit by the end of day! So enjoy yourself and have a look around! Youâre more than welcome here as long as you donât kill anyone.â You found yourself chuckling lightly along with him as he waved. âSee ya! Rest up well and donât push yourself too hard!â He beamed as he left.Â
As Eijirou left you alone with your thoughts, you couldnât help but think back to just how trustingly and kindly Katsuki had treated you. Taking your leave from the tent, you looked to the sky to gauge the time of day. Deciding you had at least an hour before the sun would set and you would need to see the Chieftain, you went to see what the town had to offer.
As you walked among the townsfolk, you couldnât help but notice that dragons and humans walked around one another as if that were a normal thing to do. Had things always been like this? And how had this not spread to other countries? Though be that as it might, you were happy for these people; they seemed to be comfortable and welcoming just like the man who had found you. Perhaps you could stay a little longer than intendedâŚÂ
Still, once the sun started to set you walked back the way you came only to come across a tent larger than most, assuming that was where Katsuki would be wrapping up the day.Â
You slowly opened the flap as some villagers came out, happily discussing the dayâs harvest before you heard. âCome on in, dragon!â Katsuki called as he remained seated on his chair smirking to himself. âFeeling better, I see?â he questioned as he sat up straight. Even like this, you could see and feel the power he irradiated.Â
âYes, much, thank you.â Bowing, you smiled before you were told to stand upright. âIf thereâs anything I can do for you, please just let me know. Itâs the least I can do after you saved my life.âÂ
The moment those words left your mouth, you had a feeling that you were either going to live to regret it or thank him.
âSpeaking of which,â he started as he leaned back and patted his lap. âPlease, come here,â he commanded. Once you approached, he leaned forward, taking your chin between his thumb and forefinger as if inspecting you. Up close, you could just see how deep ruby red his eyes were as well as how sharp his teeth were. For a human, he had a great set of fangs on him. âShame heâs a human; he would have made a great and fierce dragon,â you couldnât help but think before he spoke, bringing you back to reality.Â
âYes, youâre perfect,â he muttered, pulling you into his lap forcefully by your waist. âStrong willed, a fighter, and someone I could learn to grow better with,â he stated as he suddenly captured your lips. âYou will be my partner,â he stated as his hands wandered low.Â
Spluttering and blushing, you thrust your arms at his chiseled chest, putting some distance between the two of you. âB-But how do you know? I could kill you! You barely know me,â you protested, though with his power he forced you to fold your arms, leaning in to whisper.Â
âBut you owe me your life. Surely this is nothing and if you donât feel like youâre the one youâre more than welcome to leave,â he purred.
You knew he was right. This young, powerful man knew that dragons didnât back down on their word, and so serving him would mean repaying the debt? A small price to pay, truly.Â
âSo why not get on your knees for your Chief and thank me properly?â he offered, leaning back and letting go of you. You watched as the grin on his face was almost ear splitting as you sunk to your knees in front of him. He let his hands wander down his trousers to help you get them off and down to his ankles.Â
âThatâs it,â he praised, reaching out to gently lay his hand on your head. His eyes watched you with keen interest as you slowly took him into your mouth. He wasnât completely hard and you shifted to get a better angle and grip him in your hands, though he tried to encourage you with soft words. âThatâs it, fuckinâ take it all in,â he muttered as he leaned back, getting more comfortable on his throne. The grasp on your hair got tighter as he started to get impatient and guide your face along his length. âCome on now, no need to be so shy about it.â His teeth showed as he smiled. âYouâve lived longer than I have, surely you have the experience?â he goaded. Which, if you were honest with yourself, was true. You were most likely older than him, and could show him a thing or two while youâre at it.Â
Straightening your back a little from the floor you looked over his hardening dick. Licking your lips, you took the head in, using the flexibility to weave in between the head of his cock and the shaft before leaning up and taking it in as much as you could. Tongue flat, running along the thick vein underneath, you slowly bobbed your head back and forth, breathing when you could. It wasnât long before you felt a tug with the hand that ran through your hair to pull you away from him, leaving you panting, and breathless from working so hard to please him.Â
His cheeks flushed a bright pink he chuckled almost as breathlessly as you, having forgotten how to breathe in the moment before letting go of your hair. âWhat a good girl,â he praised as he shifted back and patted his lap. âWhy not come for a ride?â he questioned as he watched you stand. âI would have taken you back to my room, but I'm feeling impatient. Itâs my birthday after all,â he informed, eyes hungrily watching over your form as you stripped naked, and then worked on taking off his trousers completely.Â
âYour birthday?â you questioned him as you straddled his lap. âI see. Perhaps this will be enough of a gift then?â you mused lining yourself up, slowly trying to sink yourself down on him.
His head slammed back against the back of his throne as he groaned. You were taking your time, though as you hadnât prepared yourself. You knew your body could and would stretch, but it was painful to begin with. He was stretching you to your limit, but you licked your hand to reach down to let the saliva coating his dick for an easier entry only then were you able to sit down fully on his lap.Â
Taking a good minute or two you both sat, panting, just feeling one another as you got used to the stretch of his cock within you. His hands empassing your hips, he tried to get you to move, but you had other ideas. It was his birthday? Thatâs just fine, but you would make sure it would be a ride he wouldnât forget in a hurry.Â
You gently grasped his hands and took them off your hips to raise them above his head as you started to roll your hips back and forth. Leaning in close to kiss him and to distract him, you used your tail to wrap his hands above his head. He only just realised when you leaned back.
âW-What the fuck isâshitâthe big idea?â he panted as his eyes were glued to your form, which started moving so effortlessly up and down on his dick.Â
âItâs your birthday. I want to spoil you, so enjoy the ride.â Chuckling a little darkly, you couldnât help but use your wings to give you some extra momentum and power into your movements as you rode him.Â
He couldn't believe just how lucky he was to have such a beautiful person ride him within an inch of his life. You knew just what to do and how to please him, which, to his embarrassment, had him orgasming not much longer after you started.Â
âF-Fuck!â he grunted, unable to couldnât help it when his hips met yours. Though your gut had only just started to coil with your own orgasm, much to your disappointment. You remained seated on his lap as he came down from his high, letting go of his arms.Â
He watched you only to frown. Noticing you hadnât orgasmed yet he couldnât help but feel like a teenager all over again.Â
This wouldnât do. This wouldnât do at all.Â
Growling, he forcefully lifted you up from him as he slid to the floor, getting you to sit in his seat. Wrapping his arms around your waist, he brought you to his face and started to lap up not only at his own cum that had started to seep itâs way out from the confines of yourself, but searching for any original taste of your own essence. This surprise had you leaning over with a groan. In all your years, no other man had been so willing about doing this.Â
Smirking from the inside of your thighs, he knew from your expression that you were loving it or at the very least surprised by his movements. âWhat?â he questioned, so close to your cunt that you could feel his breath ghosting it. âNever been eaten out before?â He seemed a little too smug, as if he almost already knew the answer.Â
With a shake of your head, he only shifted closer and got more comfortable as he nudged your clit with his nose. âHmm, good. I'm a man starving for pussy and itâs delicious, so donât mind me,â he muttered before his gaze lowered.Â
Though his dick felt great, this was almost a thousand times better. There was no painful stretch, only a soft muscle, though not deep. The slurping and sucking sounds and sensations were what quickly brought your end. He was more than happy to guide you though your high as you remained hunched over his head, hands which you now realised were in his hair, forcing his face just that much closer.Â
Leaning back once you had come back to Earth, you watched him as he wiped his chin and cheeks with the back of his arm. âThank you for the meal.â He chuckled, giving off a lopsided smile, showing off the pearly whites of his sharp teeth. He stood as he gathered up his trousers as he got dressed. âYouâre more than welcome to stay for dinner in my home,â he stated as he turned to you and passed you back your clothes.Â
Slowly taking them, you nodded as you got dressed despite the shake in your legs. âY-Yeah, I think I will,â you confirmed as you slipped back into your clothes.Â
âGood choice. Iâm not finished with you yet, beautiful.â Leaning in, he kissed your cheek before taking his leave only to find a very flustered Eijirou waiting outside. âSomething wrong?â Katsuki questioned with folded arms, knowing exactly what he was doing.Â
âN-No!â the dragon protested, though the redness that was spread all the way up to his ears gave him away.Â
âNext time, just ask. Itâs rude to eavesdrop.â Katsuki laughed as he walked away, going to join the mass for dinner.Â
âK-Katsuki! I had to make sure you were safe! After all, sheâs a rogue dragon,â Eijirou protested in earnest. Though he wouldnât admit it, that would be something that Eijirou would very much like to do.Â
âSure, sure, whatever you say, man.â
Rolling his eyes, Katsuki took a seat at the head of the banquet table, waiting for your arrival before the festivities could begin.

hello! i see your requests are open again đ can i request jeonghan x reader, enemies to lovers kinda thing maybe where they have the same friends but jeonghan & reader always clash etc etc fluff at the end idk
i know youâll come up with something amazing as always, do what you want with it đđĽ°đ
balance | y. jh.Â
pairing: jeonghan x reader genre: enemies to lovers (kind of), fluff warnings: heights, ski mountain mechanical malfunctions (you know, dangling in the air kind of thing)Â word count: 1.5k (i got carried away, im sorry)
đ: thank you so much for requesting!!! this was honestly fun to write although there was little to none banter, iâm so sorry :â( thank you for trusting me! i hope you like it <3 i will try to post at least two drabbles/requests per week :)
To you, Yoon Jeonghan was the type of person that looked like he would trample all over your principles in life. Itâs a little dramatic of you but he canât blame you for thinking so. Heâs cocky, annoying and full of shit. The two of you stepped off on the wrong foot when he thought it was funny to pour sparkling water on your instant noodles as a prank during one of the traditional ski trips your group of friends always hold.
Soonyoung introduced him on what was supposed to be the best trip of your life only to get ruined when he made fun of you. Although technically speaking, your cup wasnât the only victim of his shenanigan because the rest of your friends complained and threw it at the perpetrator before they could even finish eating. But you were hungry and stubborn, so you didnât let it go.Â
Ever since then, despite not confronting him, Jeonghanâs energy and wholebeing never clicked with yours. You barely speak a word to him and you rarely hang out with him, unlike with every single one of your friends. He hasnât noticed and even if he did, youâre sure he could care less. Which is fine by you. The instant noodle prank is history and now that this yearâs ski trip will be your third with him, you have just gotten used to ignoring his existence.Â
âJeonghanâs staring at you,â Seungcheol says, startling you.Â
Your eyes throw daggers at him, not because he startled you, but because of what he said.Â
The tall man nudges your shoulder with his. âIâm not lying. Give him a glance and then youâll see.â
To set the record straight, you donât have a grudge on Jeonghan for who he is. Itâs more of what he does that gives a bad impression on you. Aside from the noodle incident, you noticed how much he takes pride in teasing and playing with the gullible younger ones and you hate him for that. Itâs a good laugh every once in a while but it can hurt feelings at times and you donât want that. He also likes to disagree and debate with everyone (youâre just glad you havenât been a victim yet). When everyone else says yes, heâll boldly say no. Thatâs how moronic he is to be friends with.Â
Of course you acknowledge his good deeds. Whether you like to admit it or not, Jeonghan is a great friend. He is a beacon of strength among you knowing that heâs one of the oldest in the group. He knows where and when to have fun. He knows when to be there for anyone who needs him. Heâs supportive. Heâs loving. Heâs more than okay.Â
Youâre just turning a blind eye because youâre still petty.Â
It has come to your attention that apparently, Jeonghan has been harboring a crush on you. Itâs a stupid rumor and you choose to ignore it because why. Why would he have a crush on you? You try confirming if itâs true by looking at him and observing his actions whenever heâs not paying attention. But to no avail, nothing special stood out.
In fact, it seems like all the staring and observation made you develop a crush on him. Now thatâs even more annoying.Â
You roll your eyes at Seungcheolâs nonsense and walk away from him to go to Jeongyeon whoâs currently checking in everyone to the hotel. You might as well help her register everyone to all the activities you will be participating in.Â
âCollect their IDs,â she orders without looking up from the form sheâs writing on. âAnd tell them to fall in line so they can sign the consent form.â
âTold you we should have filled out the online form before getting here,â your complaint doesnât go unheard by your friend who only glares at you, scaring you to immediately obey her instructions.
âIDs please,â you ask with your hand out and your friends happily complied as they chatted through the waiting time. You walk around to make sure you have everyoneâs and as you double check, one last ID was missing.Â
âYou didnât forget about me, did you?â
The devil himself, Yoon Jeonghan.
You take a deep deep breath before turning around and face the handsome face youâve been sick of. Wait, did you just call him handsome?!Â
Jeonghan flashes his signature smirk while pulling his wallet out from his pocket, picking one of the many cards inside it to hand to you. His gloveless fingers grazes yours and it concerns you why it made your heart skip a beat. You avoid his gaze and everything else about him and run back to Jeongyeon whoâs the one asking for these in the first place.Â
You heard his low chuckle and you wish you could wipe off his annoying grin with your fist.Â
Moving on from what happened in the early afternoon, the rest of the day was pleasant enough for you and your friends to continue. Everyone had lunch at the local restaurant first before doing the group activities. Itâs a good thing none of you are afraid of heights (except for Dokyeom, but he manages). Soonyoung leading everyone to hike the safe side of the snow covered mountain wasnât a problem for him.Â
After the quick mountain hike, you all scattered to have fun and decided to meet up for dinner in the evening. You, Jeongyeon, Dokyeom and much to your dismay, Jeonghan all went up to snowboard.Â
The lift was supposed to carry the four of you up to the starting point before your adrenaline descend, but Dokyeom suddenly felt a wave of fear of heights and needed to calm down for a few minutes. He tells you to go on ahead and you did. You just didnât expect Jeonghan to be accompanying you instead of Jeongyeon.Â
You hide your disappointment and bewilderment as you make yourself comfortable. Itâs awkward but it doesnât matter. Youâre just going to keep quiet and avoid looking Jeonghanâs way. This ride will probably not be a good ten minutes, right?
Jeonghan holds onto his snowboard while you place yours on the floor. A barrier of some sort to distance yourself from him. Your eyes are glued to your feet, watching them move from side to side. You also distract yourself from admiring the view outside the window, but itâs hard when you can feel his eyes burning holes on the back of your head.Â
âY/N.â
You hate it. You hate it. You hate it.Â
Why does your name sound so melodic coming from his mouth?
You turn your head and raise your eyebrows, waiting for him to continue.Â
But the lift doesnât let him because it suddenly stops mid-air, echoes of metals clanking and brakes screeching following suit. The abrupt stop causes the lift to shake a little, making you hold onto the metal bars out of fear.Â
âLadies and gentlemen, there has been a mechanical malfunction of the lifts and our engineers are repairing it now at this moment. We apologize for the inconvenience and fear that this has caused. We request everyone to remain calm and seatedâŚâ
The announcement falls deaf to your ears because all you hear is ringing. Youâre not afraid of heights at all. But you have never experienced an incident like this before. Youâve heard and read about it and not all of them ended well.Â
âHey,â Jeonghanâs voice snaps you out of your dilemma.Â
You blink away your tears and clutch your chest to calm your heart thatâs beating faster and faster.Â
âY/N?â Jeonghan calls for you again, but this time heâs reaching his hand out. âYouâll be fine. Here, take my hand.â
Jeonghan probably noticed the panic in your eyes. So, after throwing away your doubts outside the window, you carefully move a little closer to him but not beside him as you donât want to ruin the balance of the lift. You unclench your fist and finally take hold of his waiting hand.Â
Jeonghanâs warm palm and genuine smile calms you down. Your heartbeat slows down and your breathing goes back to normal. Your eyebrows furrow in both fear and embarrassment. You question the universe how and why did this have to happen.Â
âHey, donât cry.â
âIâm not!âÂ
Jeonghan giggles at your outburst and you donât know if thatâs music to your ears or if it just makes you want to punch his handsome face more.Â
âI like you Y/N,â he suddenly confesses and you grimace.Â
âI like you too,â you confess back, tightly gripping his hand. âBut now is not the time, Yoon Jeonghan.â
Jeonghan bites back a smile that says heâs in love and just gently caresses your hand. Itâs unbelievable how the opportunity arose itself right at this moment, but it was now or never for him. Heâd explain how much he likes you in detail later. For now, heâs okay with this.Â
âBut, later though?â
âYes, now shut up before I throw you out first.â

âThank you for dinner tonight, Eugene. It feels like itâs been a while since Iâve been out like this so I appreciate it.â The woman spoke softly, the edges of her eyes crinkling slightly due to the smile that adorned her face. âIt only feels like itâs been a while because it has been a while, Y/N.â The man teased as he looked down at the woman beside him. Her cheeks tinted a light pink color and it was at this moment she was thankful for the darkness of the night that enveloped the car the two were sat in. âRight. Look, I really am sorry about all of that. I was just,â She let out a sigh as she looked down at her hands, âI donât really know actually.â She finished quietly. The manâs lips pressed into a thin line as his grip on the steering wheel tightened ever so slightly. Letting out a small sigh he responded, âYou were just heartbroken. Itâs normal, especially after something like that.â He muttered, his tone noticeably more annoyed causing her to frown. âYeah. I guess thatâs what happens when youâre thrown to the side like trash.â She muttered, a small smile tugging at her lips despite the pessimistic thoughts that began to infiltrate her mind.
Pulling into her driveway and parking the car, the man rested a hand on her thigh as he looked over at her once more, âYouâre not trash, Y/N. You didnât deserve what he did to you. He made his choice to leaveâŚ.Now you just have to make your choice to get back out there and take your life back.â She let out a small sigh as she rested one of her hands on top of the one that was on her thigh, âI know, but itâs still hard. I mean, some days I feel like Iâm completely fine and that I can take on the world but other daysâŚOther days I canât help but feel like he dodged a bullet leaving the way he did. Who knows, maybe he saw something wrong with me that I canât see and decided it was too much for him.â Hearing her dejected tone the man only frowned, âI wonât lie and say I know how you feel because I honestly donât. What I do know is that you canât let his choices dictate your life. He made his decision and itâs about time you made yours. I just want whatâs best for you, everyone does.â The woman began to chew on her lip as she allowed the weight of the words from her friend to sink into her mind. âI guess thatâs fair. Maybe I have been sulking around a bit longer than I should be.â âItâs been five months, Y/N. I think youâve done more than enough sulking for the year.â She nodded silently before pulling her hand away from his and tugging her purse up to rest on her lap. âIâm pretty tired so I think Iâm gonna head to bed now. Thank you again for dragging me out of the house tonight, Gene. I really did enjoy everything. Maybe we can do it again sometime soon,â She suggested, a small burst of confidence bubbling in her chest. Eugeneâs face lit up with a smile as he nodded eagerly, âDefinitely. Just let me know when you want to go. Iâll be waiting.â She smiled as she leaned over the console to give him a brief hug before pulling away and promptly exiting the car. She closed the door and gave the man a small wave before making her way into her small house. She dropped her belongings at the door and kicked her shoes off before dragging herself to her bedroom and throwing herself onto the bed as she immediately tugged a warm blanket over her body. She laid still for a moment as she stared blankly at the ceiling before rolling over and digging around in her bedside drawer before her hand came into contact with a familiar piece of paper. She hastily pulled it out and sat up as she began to unfold the paper and skim her eyes over the words that were elegantly written onto the paper. My love, I am writing this letter to you with a fearful mind and heavy heart as I am not quite sure how you will react. It is without a doubt that you are the one who has stolen my heart and who I will love and cherish unconditionally for the rest of my existence which only makes writing this even more painful. Even with this burden, I must carry on. Itâs come to my, and the familyâs attention, that our presence in Forks will only bring nothing but pain and suffering to both you and Bella. It is because of this that we must leave. Believe me when I say there is no other way. This is for your and Bellaâs safety. My only regret is that I will not be able to hold you in my arms and gaze into your loving eyes one last time before we leave, but I know if I did I would only stay and I cannot do that to you or my family. I hope to meet with you again, my love. Yours forever, Carlisle âYours forever.â She spoke, a bitter edge mixed in with her tone. She let out a scoff as she flicked the paper over the side of her bed, not bothering to check where it landed. She fell back onto her mattress as she once again began to stare aimlessly at the ceiling above. If only forever actually meant something.
Three Months Later
âThank you for taking time out of your day and meeting with me, it truly means a lot,â Y/N spoke, a bright smile on her face as she shook hands with the mother who was holding tightly onto her child beside her. âAbsolutely! You already know Iâm more than happy to meet up with you at any time. Thank you for reaching out. Iâll make sure everything gets taken care of as soon as possible.â Y/N nodded as she looked down to the child who clung tightly to his motherâs side, âIâll see you on Monday, kiddo. Have a great evening!â The child gave her a timid smile as he spoke up, âYou too Ms. L/N!â The womanâs smile only widened before bidding the pair a goodbye. Hearing her classroom door close, she took a seat in her chair as she leaned forward to get a closer look at the classwork of her fourth-period class. Letting out a small sigh, she grabbed her blue pen and began her daily routine of monotonous grading. After what felt like an eternity, she heard her classroom door swing open causing her to look up from the stack of classwork that seemed to significantly lower in height since starting. âI figured youâd still be here. I got us some Chinese!â Eugene spoke as he held up the bag of takeout like a trophy in his hands. âThank goodness. I really didnât want to get home and have to cook. Itâs been a long day.â The woman groaned as she pushed the stack of paperwork to the side as Eugene placed the styrofoam container into her hands. She quickly opened up the box and began to eat to her heart's content as she watched Eugene struggle with his chopsticks. âIâm not quite sure why you get those if you havenât figured you how to use them after nearly two years. I think you should just give up.â She remarked before taking a bite of veggie roll dipped in duck sauce sheâd expertly acquired with her own pair of chopsticks. Eugene let out a scoff as he turned to face her, âWell sorry I canât be perfect at everything I do. Not my fault no one taught me how to use these things.â He muttered with a frown on his face. She let out a hearty laugh, âIâve offered to teach you numerous times, you just refuse to let me help you out.â âI refuse because Iâm a strong, independent man. I donât need to rely on no woman.â She smirked, âIf I didnât know you were gay, Iâd think you have some vendetta against women.â âVendetta? Against women? Please, a woman could spit on me and Iâd apologize for bothering her.â He scoffed. Her eyes glinted with mischief as she stared at him with a brow quirked up, âGood to know. Very good to know.â He rolled his eyes before throwing a packet of soy sauce at her, âOh be quiet. You know you could never do that to me. You love me too much.â âSadly. Now, hurry up and finish eating. I wanna get home already.â He shook his head as he closed the takeout container, âIâm actually not all that hungry tonight so we can go now.â The woman only nodded in response as the pair began to clean up and gather their belongings before heading out of the classroom and over to his car. --- Pulling into her driveway, he put the car into park as Eugene turned to look at the woman beside him. âI know we just ate dinner together, but you wanna grab something to eat tomorrow?â She pondered for a moment before nodding with a small smile, âYeah we can. You know I love being with you.â âEveryone does, they just donât want to admit it.â She rolled her eyes playfully before reaching over the console and giving him a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek. âText me the details. Iâll see you later, Gene.â He quickly returned her affection as he nodded, âI will. Have a good evening, Y/N.â She gave him a smile before getting out of the car and closing the door behind her. She gave him a parting wave as she watched him pull out of her driveway and away from her house. With a content sigh, she walked up to her front door and twisted the knob, shock coming over her features as the door swung open with ease. I never leave the door unlocked. Feeling a sense of unease beginning to creep up on her, she tucked her keys between her knuckles as she slowly stepped into her house making sure to rake her eyes over every little detail in her home. With small and quiet movements, she set her bag on the ground as she silently shut the door behind her. She carefully crept into the house as she made sure to keep both her eyes and ears peeled for any suspicious sign of an intruder. Walking into her living room, she continued her slow and cautious movements before her eyes settled on her couch where a hauntingly familiar piece of fabric was strewn across the top. Gulping, she stalked closer to the couch and picked up the dark grey jacket. With shaking hands, she slowly began to unfold the jacket, her heart clenching as the familiar scent invaded her nostrils. Eyes widened and heart pounding, she whipped around to find him standing there in all his glory. âCarlisle.â She gasped out. She stared with a sense of horror and despair as she took in the sight of the man who stood only a few feet away from her. Her eyes raked over his tall, slightly muscularity and lean build that was dressed in a light blue collared button-up that was neatly tucked away beneath a sweater vest that was a shade darker than his button-up. It was paired with a pair of black jeans she had gotten him as a gift along with a pair of dress shoes that she had a feeling were new. She sucked in a sharp breath as she dared to bring her eyes up to his face that radiantly shone against the dim lighting in the living room, his golden eyes locked onto her figure that seemed frozen in place as the pair stared each other down. Neither one of them dared to break the silence as a tense feeling overcame the both of them, more specifically Y/N. Swallowing the last of her pride, she found the courage to speak first. âYouâre here.â As if sensing her hesitance, Carlisle slowly nodded before gently speaking out, âYes. There was a change in our living conditions.â Not quite knowing how to respond, the woman only nodded as she suddenly became all too aware of just how small the living room truly was. Taking in a small breath, Carlisle took a step toward her causing the woman to immediately take a step away from him. This reaction caused him to shrink back into himself as he felt a pang of hurt course through his body. I deserve that. Shaking off the rejection he opened his mouth, âLove-â âGet out.â His eyes widened at her harsh tone as he took a moment to stare at her face. It didnât take a genius to know that her expression was one of extreme anger and discomfort, but to know that the person who had once promised unconditional love and care for you aimed that deadly glare at you, it was disheartening, to say the least. âY/N, I can explain-â âNow you want to explain yourself? What, you think you can break into my house and expect everything to just be alright? Do you have any idea what you put me through just leaving like that? I spent months trying to convince myself that I still had a life worth living and you expect me to run back into your arms? I donât think so, Carlisle.â She spits, a certain fire he had never seen burning into him as she glared at him. âI know I hurt you, but it was what the family needed. Iâm sorry it came to it, but we had no other choice. I had no other choice.â She let out a scoff as she threw the jacket to the ground before walking up to him with fury in her eyes before stopping directly in front of him, âAnd you couldnât tell me that in person? You had to leave a fucking note? Are you kidding me? You knew what I would think and you didnât want to face that so you took the easy way out by tossing me to the side like trash-â âYouâre not trash-â His sentence was once again cut short, not by her words this time, but by the sound of her hand smacking against his stone-cold cheek. Startled, Carlisle stumbled a bit as he looked to her with a look of shock and hurt visible on his face, âDid you just-â âYes. I slapped you Carlisle and if Iâm being honest, I should do a hell of a lot more to you right now with the nerve you have showing your face around here after what you did.â He let out a sigh of annoyance as he took a step back from her, âI did it to protect you. You really think I would intentionally hurt you?â âIf that was the case, you wouldâve talked to me and not just left a lousy note!â She yelled. âI was protecting you, Y/N! I did what I thought was best at the time and Iâm sorry if you canât see that but I donât regret what I did for even a second!â He yelled back as he felt himself feeding on her own anger and frustration. âIf you donât regret it then why the hell did you come crawling back here?! You shouldâve just left another note on my bed and left me alone, God knows youâre great at doing that!â Carlisle let out a humorless laugh as he bit back, âWhat? So you can be alone with Eugene? God Y/N, if I knew how easily you could move on from me I wouldâve just found some other woman to run off with!â âDonât you dare try to blame this on me, Cullen. I wasnât the one who decided to walk away from a perfectly good relationship-â âMaybe it wasnât a perfectly good relationship, Y/N! Maybe thatâs why I left in the first place! Did you ever take a moment to think about how much of a pain you can be to deal with, especially as a human? How much it took to take care of you? You drive me absolutely insane and leaving you behind was probably one of the best decisions of my entire existence!â He roared out harshly. At his impassioned revelation, Y/Nâs face quickly became void of all emotion as she straightened out her posture. He watched helplessly as she clenched and unclenched her jaw, a habit she did when she was trying not to lose control, especially during an argument. Feeling a pit grow in his stomach at the weight of his words, Carlisleâs face fell as he gulped. âY/N, you know I didnât mean-â âIâm going to my room.â Carlisle looked up at her as his eyes slightly widened at her choice of words, âWhat?â âI said Iâm going to my room and I wonât bother coming out until morning. If I come out and youâre still here, I wonât hesitate to call the cops and tell them about your breaking and entering stunt,â She spoke lifelessly. âPlease donât-â âGoodnight Carlisle,â She spoke quietly before stalking off toward her bedroom. Carlisle watched her figure disappear behind the walls of her house, a sharp flinch interrupting his still frame as the walls shook from the force of her slamming her door. In all his time of knowing her, he knew she was a woman of her word and so with a heavy heart and a guilty conscience, he picked up his jacket before leaving her residence as he tried to get the sound of her heartbroken cries emitting from her room out of his head.
Next morning
Slowly stirring awake, Y/N reluctantly opened her eyes. Immediately being blinded by the light shining in from the window she regretted her decision as she screwed her eyes shut, rubbing away at her eyes with her hands as she tried to dull the stinging sensation. Once soothed, she opened her eyes once more. Furrowing her brows together, she sat up as she took a moment to sniff the air. Lips pressed into a thin line and annoyance already coursing through her veins, she shot up from her bed as she swung her door open and stormed over to the kitchen. âI told you I was going to call the cops if-Oh.â Her sentence quickly faltered as she caught sight of Edward watching over the movements of Bella as she moved around the kitchen with a grace that Y/N could never quite master due to the fact that she was more than happy to live off of take-out than take the time out of her day to make a homemade meal for herself. âWhat are you doing here?â She got out, her voice suddenly feeling very small and hoarse. Edward turned to her, crinkling his nose slightly at the overwhelmingly large amount of thoughts that flooded through her head. Shoving away his own distaste for her mind at the moment, he spoke. âCarlisle said youâd call the cops if you saw him in here when you got up. You never said anything about seeing me or Bella,â At the mention of her name, Bella perked up as she turned to face the older woman with a shy smile and a small wave before turning back to the pancakes she was in the middle of making. Y/N let out a deep sigh as she rolled her eyes, âDamn him and his loopholes.â Edward gave a small smile toward the woman. While he had strong feelings about human involvement in the familyâs rather odd lifestyle, it was obvious to anyone that he had grown a soft spot for the woman who had effortlessly stolen the heart of his adoptive father. While he looked to Carlisle as a father figure, it was Y/N who he saw as a mother figure. âCome on, Bella already fixed you a plate. Why donât we sit down and talk for a bit?â By the time the words had left his mouth, he was already dragging her to the couch in the living room shoving the plate of food into her hands as he sat on the couch opposite to her. âYes, make yourself at home.â She muttered sarcastically before stabbing her fork into a sausage and shoving it into her mouth. âY/N-â He started. âWhy are you here, Edward?â She asked once she had finished chewing. "Alive had a vision of what happened. I just wanted to check in on you." She let out a bitter laugh as she looked up at him, "Well I'm doing just fine, Edward. Feel free to leave. Bella can stay though, these pancakes are heavenly," The woman remarked as she stabbed a fluffy pancake with her fork. "You're still in your clothes from last night and your eyes are red and puffy. Believe me when I say you look horrible." He observed. "Well your eye bags are becoming more prominent, but you don't see me rubbing that in your face now do you?" She remarked,  patience slowly beginning to wear thin. "Well, I can't exactly sleep it off. I'm literally dead." "Excuses, excuses." She waved off. Edward let out a small sigh of frustration as she continued to brush off his efforts. It was no surprise she was upset with Carlisle especially after some of the things he had said, but the disregard she had for her own feelings was annoyingly frustrating, especially when he could see right through her act just by digging into her thought. While it could very well be seen as an invasion of privacy, Edward felt it was critical at this moment. "You can't just ignore this conversation, Y/N. You've gotta talk about it at one point or another. I know you're hurting." "You don't know anything, Edward. You can't just waltz in here and think you know how I feel." "I can make a pretty good assumption based on your thoughts." She rolled her eyes as she pushed the plate of food away from her, "What is it with you guys and taking the easy way out? First, you leave Forks because of an accident. Then Carlisle leaves me with a note for his goodbye and if that wasn't enough, you have the nerve to sit here and read my thoughts instead of talking to me like a normal person would. It's getting pathetic honestly." She finished off with a huff. Edward's lips turned into a frown as he leaned back into the couch, "Then tell me how you feel." Y/N let out a deep sigh as she stared down at her hands, "I'm just hurt. When you guys came into my life, I wasn't expecting to get so attached, and when I did...God, it felt like the best thing in the world like I was flying. Carlisle knew it, you knew it, everyone knew it. And then you just leave? It's one thing to leave me here by myself, but the fact no one even said anything to me? I would've preferred being left alone in the woods like a sack of meat because at least then I'd know you cared enough to see me one last time, but I didn't get that and it hurt." Edward silently watched her for a moment before speaking, "Your thoughts are all jumbled together...What are you thinking about?" She let out a sigh as she began to play with her fingers, "When you guys left, I felt useless. I felt like dead weight and it showed. I could barely bring myself out of bed to go to work and the days I manage to bring myself to work, everyone just wanted me to go home because they were so worried. It was like the only thing I wanted to do was sleep and eat my days away, but I couldn't even do that because just the thought of eating made me want to puke. As for sleeping, I couldn't do that without waking up and driving over to your house like it was some bad dream. Hell, it took five months for me to even get out of the house and get some semblance of normality back into my life, then it took another three months for me to finally feel normal again. And just like that, you guys come back without a care in the goddamn world expecting a warm welcome after everything. Especially with the things he said? It was one thing to have him come back out of literally nowhere, but for him to say all of those things too? It hurts and I don't wanna go through that again, Edward. I can't go through that again." Edward nodded with a frown settled on his face as he reached out and grabbed her hand, "You can't avoid him forever though, especially if you're both in the same town." "Should've thought about that before he left." "You're right, I should have." The pair both look toward the main entrance where Carlisle stood in the same outfit he'd worn the night before albeit a tad wrinkled and disbelieved with his normally tame hair sticking out in different directions. Her face grew into a scowl as she crossed her arms, "What part of "I'll call the cops" don't you understand? I don't want you here." Carlisle turned to stare at Edward and gave him a small nod. Obviously picking up on something Y/N couldn't quite understand, he stood up and walked out with Bella awkwardly trailing behind him making Y/N wonder just how long she was standing there watching her pour her heart out to boyfriend. Shaking away the thoughts, she looked to Carlisle. "As much as I hate you right now, I'd rather not see you get dragged away in a pair of cuffs so please just go." Carlisle only shook his head as she slowly began walking toward her, "You know I can't do that, love." "No. You don't get to say that. You don't get to come in here and act like you still care." At this, Carlisle stopped his advances as he stared her down. "I'll always care about you. I know I have a weird way of showing it, but I was only doing what I thought was best. For my family, for you." "I know that Carlisle, I could care less about the fact that you left. It's how you left and how you came back. It was just so sudden, there was no warning and you just sprung it on me. Then yesterday with how upset you got with me when I didn't immediately fall into your arms that you thought you could say such horrible things...How did you expect me to react?" As she listed off all these wrongdoings, Carlisle felt an overwhelming sense of shame and embarrassment creep onto him as he looked down at the wooden floors beneath him. "Y/N, I know there's nothing I could ever do to make it better, but I truly am sorry for all the pain I've caused you with my absence. You're absolutely right when you say the way I left was awful. I did take the easy way out, but I knew if I did it in person I wouldn't be able to stop myself from leaving you. I knew the family was counting on me and I couldn't risk my own emotions overpowering what they needed me to do." "And yesterday? What the hell was that?" Carlisle sighed as his frown deepened, "Like you said, I came back expecting you to fully accept me once again. I thought you'd be blinded with joy that you wouldn't care about me just showing up and when you didn't I just...It was painful. Having you yell at me talking about how you didn't want me around was hurtful. I didn't know how to react so I gave into my anger and I said terrible things that I didn't mean. There is no excuse for my actions or the words I said last night, but please believe me when I say that I didn't mean a word of what I said. I was angry, frustrated, and admittedly a bit thirsty. I acted like a monster and I don't expect your forgiveness, but I hope you understand just how sorry and regretful I am." At his long admission, Y/N let out a sigh as she ran a hand through her hair. "God I hate you." Carlisle looked at her, pain swirling around in his eyes as he tried to ignore the pang of hurt that made its way through his chest. "You should. I don't-" "I hate that you left. I hate that you couldn't be a fucking man and tell me yourself. I hate that you came back out of nowhere and said all those horrid things to me. I hate that you had the nerve to take advantage of your child for your own benefit. I hate how you're still here even after I threatened to call the cops on you and I hate that I still need your touch," She managed to spill out in a long, desperate breath as the salty tears began to prick at her eyes once more. Carlisle sucked in a breath before using his enhanced speed to get to the woman who's strong resolve was slowly cracking for the man who had caused her so much heartbreak. He slowly and softly brought his hands to rest on either side of her head as he gently craned her neck to look up at him as she gripped onto his arms with tears now freely streaming down her face. He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead as she continued to speak, "I hate how relieved I feel now that you're here," He then pressed his soft lips to the tip of her nose "I hate how I feel like I can finally breathe," Another kiss was pressed to her cheek "And I hate how much I just want you to kiss me already." At her words, Carlisle's gaze darkened slightly before he pulled her body close to his and pressed his lips to hers. Her arms threw themselves around his neck as she jumped up onto him, his strong arms immediately catching and supporting her weight as they desperately moved their lips together as if it were the last time. She tightened her hold on him as she ran her hands through his golden locks, the familiar feeling of love and adoration filling her heart as she did so, lips still moving feverishly in sync. After a few more moments, they pulled away with Y/N breathing deeply from the lack of oxygen while Carlisle stared at her with his loving eyes. Once her breathing returned back to normal, she stared into his eyes as she spoke, "But most of all, I hate how much I still love you." Carlisle let out a sigh of relief and happiness as she pulled her even closer to him, the tiniest of spaces between them being closed as they embraced each other. "I love you so much, Y/N. So so much," He spoke as he buried his face into her hair as he inhaled the scent of her sweet shampoo. "I love you too but if you ever leave me like that again I promise I won't hesitate to hit you harder than I did last night." "I wouldn't dream of it, my love. I'm yours till the end of time."

Hawk Eyes
Bodyguard Seonghwa x Reader
Requested!
note: i might have went overboard with this one (jk). Thank you for the request anon and enjoy the read!
At this point, you thought that the stares and murmurs would die down but apparently not so. The other students really made it obvious that they were whispering about you or more like the person following behind you.
It was ridiculous but your father being the protective person he was assigned you a personal bodyguard. You honestly didnât want it but the Park Family has a history of working with your family and Seonghwa was no exception.
He took his job quite seriously since he was trained at a very young age. Both of you went to the same school and even then he would make sure that no one bullied or pulled pranks on you.
One time you walked into the classroom and a bucket of flour poured onto you had him furious. He was still in training back then but somehow he already ingrained in his head that he needed to protect you at all cost.
You were currently walking in the busy hallways to your morning class. The crowd always made you feel anxious and uncomfortable but knowing that Seonghwa was right behind put you at ease.
A group of boys were goofing around as they approached you and one of them accidently pushed you to the lockers with his body.
Instead of hitting the lockers, the side of your head was cushioned by a palm. Thanks to Seonghwaâs fast reflexes and close proximity, your head was saved but the group of boys wasnât.
Seonghwa stood in front of the group and glared at them, he knew they were trying to act like nothing happened when the guy who pushed you knew exactly what he did was on purpose. He was taller and looked way too intimidating for them to leave without at least a bruise.
But you stepped in and said, âHeâs in a bad mood. Itâs best that you leave or heâll slam your head next.â You smiled at them and that was enough to make them turn back from where they came from and ran away.
âYou should have made them apologise.â
âNah, itâs not like Iâm going to see them again anyway.â
You still find it bothersome how your father made Seonghwa follow you to college every single day, like a shadow. Before, he would wear those black formal suits and would sit in every class you had which was seriously uncomfortable.
People were wondering if your family was dealing with some kind of underground business and thus making you friendless up till now.
After having to negotiate with your father almost ten times, he agreed that Seonghwa was to only wait outside of every class and wear normal clothes like any young adult his age.
Your assigned bodyguard was surprised when he knew about the new arrangement and you canât believe he reacted as if youâve abandoned him when itâs not. It took him some time to get used to it and would accidentally follow you inside the lecture hall like he was now.
You turned on your heels and lightly pushed him out of the door. âHwa, please go and eat breakfast or waste time at the mall while I finish. Itâs four hours of class.â You said tiredly, this was not the first time and he would answer the same thing again and again.
âIâll wait out here. Text me if you need anything.â He gave you a professional smile that you wished he would not since it felt so weird when you know each other for so long. But being in this line of job, he had to do it and he insisted on it.
You grumbled knowing that heâll stand right outside and do nothing but glare at anyone that passed by. He wasnât paranoid, more like protective after how many incidents you got involved back in school.
Four hours passed by and everyone including you were sluggish as hell. Your back aching, arms sore and tired from all the note taking you did.
The moment you stepped outside, Seonghwa was there looking exactly how he did earlier. A smile on his face as he stepped near you. âReady to go home?â He asked, pushing himself off the wall he was leaning on.
âDonât you get tired waiting out here?â
He shook his head and before he could reply, you answered for him. âYou were trained for this, I get it. Letâs go grab lunch, Iâm hungry.â Seonghwa nodded and followed behind you like he always does.
âSeonghwa, you can walk beside me, thereâs no one besides us.â You slightly turned around and grabbed his wrist and forced him to walk beside you.
He nibbled on his lower lip as he tried to remain his composure, eyes once in a while went down to his wrist that had your fingers wrapped around it. This is fine. Iâm not crossing any lines, he reminded in his head.
Seonghwa was busy checking his schedule, your schedule to be exact when he heard the heavy doors across from him being pushed open. Your classmates swarmed out and he scanned everyone in search of your figure. His brows furrowed when he didnât see you coming out.
He made his way through the crowd and went inside the hall, where you were seen talking with someone at the front row seats. He let out an exasperated sigh and made his way towards you. His sharp eyes watched how you and this person he doesnât know talking so casually, unaware that everyone had left the room.
Seonghwa made sure his presence was known as he stood close to your side, the guy you were with immediately noticed him. He tapped your arm and motioned for you to look behind. There stood your bodyguard with a straight face on, glaring right at the stranger.
âOh youâre here. I have a project to discuss with him so we'll probably head to the library then have dinner if we get to finish things early. You can go back first.â You know so well heâs not going to leave you with this person until late at night. But it was worth the try.
Seonghwa on the other hand felt irritated the moment you mentioned the guyâs name and how you had a plan up till dinner. It was unscheduled and he didnât like one bit about it.
âIâll inform your father what you told me. Also, Iâm staying with you until you finish.â He said and for the first time ever, he left you first to wait outside. That caught you off guard but you tried not to think about it too much.
Your bodyguard who was seated a table away watched every single action of yours and your project partner. He noticed how you would cover your mouth when you laugh at a joke the male made or how you keep on adjusting your outfit when talking.
You almost never behaved that way around him and suddenly showing this side to someone thatâs not him, irked him. He then realised how he hated what he was seeing and felt something he never felt before.
He felt possessive of you. After spending time together for so long and being the only friend and shoulder to lean on, he had developed a new feeling towards you. It was probably not new at all, just hidden deep down in his heart finally bursting out due to this new stranger.
His fingers curled into fists when your partner casually patted your head after you managed to complete a question. Heâs being way too touchy and why do I feel like interrupting them and causing a ruckus? Seonghwa quietly shook the thought away and continued on watching the both of you.
The ride back home was awfully quieter than usual and it made you uneasy. You stole glances at Seonghwa who drove in silence and never uttered a single word at you.
When the both of you arrived back home, he usually bothered himself to open the front doors for you but instead shut the door right in your face.
Something was totally not right and you hate to admit but an upset Seonghwa was a hard one to deal with. âHeâs probably tired. We have been out since morning.â You tried to assure yourself and went inside and spotted him on the second floor.
You ran up the stairs, catching up with his retreating figure that did not turn once at all to look at you. He clearly heard the door opening and you running up the stairs but he ignored it.
âIs everything okay, Hwa?â You manage to grab his wrist and try to peer at his face when he jerks his hand away harshly from you.
âNo, Iâm upset. Go to your room, itâs late.â He curtly said and left you in the hallway alone.
Inside the room, Seonghwa threw himself on the bed and covered his face with the back of his hand. He wanted to beat himself so bad for being so harsh to you. I should have said everything was fine like always, not making things worse like this. He grumbled to himself as more thoughts flooded his head.
He never felt this troubled before but when he finally came to sense that he wanted you all to himself, everything jumbled up. Before, it felt like nothing more than protecting his employerâs child but not anymore.
After a while, you were done with your night routine and was already in bed but your mind was still awake. Thinking of Seonghwa and what he said earlier. âNo, Iâm upset.â
You kicked the covers away and made a bee-line to your bodyguardâs room as quiet as possible. Making sure no one was near the staircase, you ran towards the other side of the hallway towards his bedroom.
You knocked a couple of times and even twisted the knob but it was locked. Praying hard that you wonât wake anyone up, you knocked even harder and finally heard a sound coming from inside.
Seonghwa unlocked the door and thought it was one of the maids and got annoyed. âWhat is it?â He voiced with a frown until he saw you standing in front of him, staring and mouth slightly agape.
The both of you then heard voices coming from the corner and without thinking he pulled you inside and trapped you behind the door.
âWhat are you doing here?â
âI just wanted to-â You words were cut off when another set of knocks came and he knew who it was.
âYoung man, do you have anything to wash?â
âNo, I donât. Goodnight.â Seonghwa was about to shut the door when the lady stopped with her hand. âYou sure, I changed the sheets two weeks ago. Also why are you not letting me in?â She pushed the door harder and it made you yelp and hit him from the impact.
âWhat was that?â She asked. âItâs just my stomach. Iâm not feeling well.â His other hand wrapped around the back of your head making sure you donât move again. The action made you still as you took in the fact that he was really close to you.
Seonghwa finally closed the door and let out a sigh. He then tipped your chin up to make you look him in the eyes. âWhy are you not wearing a shirt?â Was the first thing that came out of your mouth.
âUh, itâs my room?â He answered back.
âBut, youâre living in my house.â You raised a brow at him.
âShould I make it my house too then?â He taunted back.
âWhat?!â
You couldnât help but shout in surprise at the words he just said. You thought he was joking but when he stepped back and went to sit at the edge of his bed, messing up his hair. You knew this was more than that.
âI like you...no I love you. I donât even know myself.â He stopped for a moment. âBut what I know is that I hate seeing you getting shy with that project partner of yours.â He expressed which sound more like he was murmuring to himself rather than to you.
You furrowed your brows and canât help but like the fact that he was bothered by something like that. Seeing him all frustrated with nothing but a pair of sweatpants was sure a sight.
But shortly after, it made you question yourself as well. You walked closer and stood directly in front of him and he looked up at the mention of his name.
Your palms found their way to his bare shoulders, resting there as you closed your eyes and went down to kiss him. Seonghwa was caught off guard by your sudden move and took your face in his hand, ripping it away from him.
âWe shouldnât do this.â He sounded genuinely worried.
âI just wanted to confirm my feelings. Iâm sorry for suddenly kissing you like that.â You were about to move away when he pulled you back to your initial spot. He made you sit on his lap, legs wrapped around him.
You were confused by his sudden actions when just a minute ago he had pushed you away, reminding you that it wasnât right to do what you both did.
âDid you feel anything after stealing a kiss from me?â His tone low as his alluring eyes met yours. You gulped at the sudden change in demeanor.
Not knowing what to say or react, you let him have his way with you. His fingers tapped its way on your neck before holding your jaw in place. He liked how it fits nicely in his hands as he pulled your face closer to his.
âYou should answer when I ask.â
You didnât know what took over you as you slowly thread your fingers in his hair and crushed your lips with his. He let out a moan and deepened the kiss, hands now gripping the side of your frame. You were starting to get out of breath, never would have imagined kissing him like this would be so addicting.
You peck his lips once more before pulling away, eyes half lidded as you look at him. His face flushed and the way he was breathing through his lips wasnât helping at all.
âThat answers everything, donât you think?â You breathed out, hands resting on his broad shoulders again.
Seonghwa then unwrapped your legs around him, pushing you down on the bed before doing the same. He gazed at your features as a finger swiped the bottom of your lips.
âYou better tell that guy to not get too touchy or I canât guarantee his life.â
His pupils were round and innocent now despite looking like it could suck you in whole earlier. You scoffed at his words and played with his fringe that was covering his eyes. âForget about him. What are we going to do next?â you asked, eyes roaming his beautiful face.
Seonghwa smirked and that's when you know he interpreted your words differently. âIâm going to do whatever I want and make sure you canât attend class tomorrow.â You sighed at him and lightly punched his chest.
âI meant about my father, your job as my bodyguard. I donât think heâs going to take this nicely.â You informed him, already knowing the fate of your relationship after this.
âIâll take care of that. What you need to worry about is whatâs going to happen right now.â Seonghwa's eyes were clearly filled with lust as his hand went under your shirt and watched how you tried to hold back from his cold touch.
You were starting to feel ways you could never imagine and he doesnât plan on stopping anytime soon. It will be a long night and surely thereâs no turning back on this.
A sneaking attempt, an unexpected confession and a stolen kiss had led you to this.
Nothing else matters as for now, just you and your life time bodyguard, Park Seonghwa.

BABYSITTING WITH HIM
characters ⥠oikawa, tendou & sakusa
tw ⥠children, cursing & mentions of arson
TĹRU OIKAWA
⥠he is pretty much a professional babysitter, or so he thought
⥠which is why he accepted when you asked if he could help you take care of your nieces/nephews for the weekend
⥠i mean, he takes care of his nephew all the time so how hard could babysitting possibly be? it was basically a free pass to spend the day with youÂ
⥠however, he began to regret his decision as he sat on your couch and realised that he wouldnât be able to get even somewhat intimate with you when there was constantly an annoying little boy clinging to his arm, asking him if he had any games on his phone
âĄÂ âsorry, kid.â oikawa smiled, clenching his jaw to hide the rage but it wasnât very effective, âiâve not got any games. maybe you could go play with your toys or something.âÂ
⥠he let out a sigh, making the mistake of thinking that would be the end of their interaction
âĄÂ âcanât you just download some?â the boy retaliated
⥠you snickered, watching as the energy visibly drained from oikawa, yet he still wore his frighteningly bright grin
âĄÂ âiâve not got any storage.âÂ
âĄÂ âthen delete some of your apps or photos.â the boy said with a shrug, then proceeded to point at oikawaâs home screen, which happened to be a picture of him and you in front of an ethereal sunset, âstart with that one. you both look like dorks.â
⥠you and oikawaâs unified gasps of offence were enough to show the boy that he was able to do exactly what he intended; piss yâall off
⥠hence, with a final mischievous snicker, he dashed off
âĄÂ âi hate kids.â oikawa muttered, inspecting his homescreen to see if he really did look like a âdorkâ, âwhat is his problem?â
âĄÂ âwhat if our kids turn out like that?â you jokedÂ
⥠his eyes widened momentarily, turning to look at you with an uncharacteristically sheepish expression, âour w--â
âĄÂ âmr kawa!â a cry could be heard from the kitchen so without hesitation, you both hopped to your feet and rushed over there as quick as you couldÂ
⥠once you both reached the area the yell came from, you were fortunately not greeted by anything gruesomeÂ
⥠instead, you both got to behold two children trying to reach the top shelf with the power on friendship; the taller boy was standing on a chair, while the toddler held it stillÂ
⥠however, his grip on the jar of the Nutella mustâve loosened at some point as it now lay dejectedly on the ground, half spilled across the tiles and the other half drenching the toddler, not that they seemed to mind thoughÂ
⥠in fact, it looked like they were having the time of their â albeit, short â life
⥠the container was only plastic, hence you didnât have to worry about shards when you darted over to the poor, chocolate-covered baby and scooped them up into your arms, âare you guys, okay?!â
âĄÂ âyeah.â the boy chuckled, noticing that holding the toddler was transferring the chocolate onto you too
âĄÂ âif you wanted nutella, you couldâve just asked.â oikawa sighed, helping the boy get down safely from the chair before putting the object back at itâs intended spot at the dinner tableÂ
âĄÂ âyou could have gotten seriously hurt! i thought you would know better than to do something like this.â you scolded, becoming even more furious as the baby continued to playfully slap your face with their grimy hands, âplease donât do that again.â
⥠before they boy got the chance to do anything besides murmur a vague apology, oikawa interjected, âthey wonât get the chance.â
⥠and he was right
⥠after cleaning everything up (including the child, which took forever), you didnât let either of the rascals out of your sight until your duties as babysitters were completeÂ
âĄÂ âi think we handled that pretty well.â oikawa mused, gathering his stuff along with you as you both got ready to leave
âĄÂ âyeah, maybe we should do this again sometime.â you suggested, but it was followed by a few second was complete silence
⥠until you both burst out laughingÂ
âĄÂ âyeah, never again.â you agreed
âĄÂ âthe kids can take care of themselves.â oikawa said with shrug, offering his hand to you, before you both strutted out of the disaster house
⥠ever since then, it was a common inside joke between you to, when in the vicinity of a kid causing mayhem or being a nuisance, whisper to each or exchange a look that says, âitâs a great day to not be babysitting.â Â
SATORI TENDĹ
⥠at first, you thought that asking tendou for help babysitting would be a bad idea bc he is just as hyperactive as the damn kids sometimes so heâd probably not be the best influenceÂ
⥠and you knew this bc one time you happened to run into him while out in the park with the kids and you asked him to watch them for literally a minute so you could run to the bathroom but when you came back all you almost had a heart attack because tendou was teaching them fkn tricks on the monkey barsÂ
⥠however, you then realised that if the kids were busy committing arson with uncle tendou, then they wouldnât be bothering youÂ
⥠so here you are, playing monopoly with your boyfriend, a seven year-old and a one year-old
⥠well, it was less like monopoly and more like debate class since none of you could agree on the rules
âĄÂ âwell, uncle ten,â the older sibling began, in a very matter-of-factly tone, âif i burn your property down, then i donât have to pay you for landing on it.â
âĄÂ âbut then you also go to jail.â you pointed out
âĄÂ ânot if the police donât catch me.â
⥠you burst out laughing, meanwhile tendou kept his business face on, âgood point, but watch this.â tendou spoke as he rolled the dice, though no matter what if he got a number between four and seven, he would end up landing on somebodyâs property
⥠he got a four
⥠picking up his piece, he moved it across each square individually and once he was due to land on your property, he knocked his piece over
âĄÂ âwhoops, i slipped.â he chuckled, though his friendly aura immediately dropped as he looked you dead in the eye and said, âiâm suing.â
âĄÂ âyou canât sue me because you tripped!â you yelledÂ
âĄÂ âi guess i just fell for you.â he said, resulting in the kids both making gagging noises before he stuck out his hand, â100 monopoly dollars, please.â
âĄÂ âlike i said,â you tried your best to stay strong and not laugh at his shitting pickup line, âiâm not giving you any money, you fell!â
âĄÂ âi guess weâll have to take this matter to court then.â tendou said, tapping the shoulder of the one year-old who was currently chewing on a 500 bill which you quickly had to confiscateÂ
âĄÂ âjudge, do you think (y/n) owes me 100 monopoly dollars for poor health and safety conduct?â
âĄÂ âyes.â
âĄÂ âthat is the only word they know how to say!â you cried, begrudgingly handing over the moneyÂ
âĄÂ âthank you, angel.â tendou cooed, adding your singular bill to the pile he had already stored up; the winner of the game had already been decidedÂ
⥠and although you and the seven year-old kid both cried later after getting your asses kicked in monopoly (the one year-old cried too but they were just hungry), you all went out to get food and actually had a pretty good time
⥠it became a routine for tendou to help you babysit whenever he got the chance and yâall would always play table top games
⥠also when tendou got accepted into culinary school, heâd teach/show the kids what dishes he has learned to prepare and let them help by stirring the pot, adding spices etc etc
⥠and even when he moved to Paris, on special occasions, a box of chocolates would suddenly appear at the kidsâ door and all the little pieces would be shaped and moulded into some of their favourite characters or made out of their favourite flavoursÂ
⥠and at one point the kids even insisted that you teach them how to make chocolates so they can send some back to uncle tendou <33
⥠they werenât the best, but when tendou received the misshapen, slightly stale chocolates at his apartment, addressed from you and the children, he cried
KIYOOMI SAKUSA
⥠his first response when you asked if he could help you babysit was ofc âew no đ¤˘â
⥠needless to say it took a lot mansplain manipulate malewifing to convince him to come overÂ
⥠but once he did, obviously he was in his full protective gear; there was no way in hell he was going to catch whatever germs the little goblins have
⥠honestly he almost sprayed a chid in the face with hand sanitizer when they came running up to him with open arms, trying to give him a hugÂ
⥠which was unusual because the kids donât tend to be overly friendly with new people, but you just brushed it off and figured that sakusa mustâve been an exception
⥠during his time babysitting, sakusa spend most of his energy trying to avoid the children at all costs that it basically became a game of tag, with you helping the child try to reach sakusa, and him hiding
⥠but honestly you couldnât complain since the whole time the child was playing, they were safe with you rather than playing with fireÂ
⥠until later you were reminded of their odd fondness for sakusa when they insisted that sakusa carry them to their bedroom when it was their nap time
⥠and as you were shifting through the books, looking for a story to read, it hit you why they seemed to be so familiar with sakusa
⥠itâs because he looked exactly like the prince in one of their favourite story books; same hair, both tall and they even had similar moles to each other
⥠upon noticing this, you immediately showed sakusa and was quite amused
⥠in fact, he found it so cute that he gave both you and the toddler a lilâ kiss on the cheek, as a parting gift â mask off and everything
⥠he ended up reading the story and the kid fell into deep slumber by the time he reached the second page
⥠letting out a sigh of relief, sakusa slumped onto the ground, allowing his own eyes to flutter shut for a moment, âwhat a day.â
⥠you shuffled over to you could lay down beside him, âindeed it was, prince sakusa.â
âĄÂ âshut up.â he teased, poking your rib slightly before absently intertwining his fingers with your own
⥠next thing you knew, you were both awakened by the sound of a grumpy toddler...

sun is up
pairing: kaeya x f!reader
summary: who knew that waking up next to a stupidly handsome cavalry captain could be so conflicting?
note: hehe. also this one is a little spicy (not very because i'm shy but still) so minors begone!
The sunlight was hitting your face from the wrong side. With a groan, you threw a hand over your eyes in an effort to block out the intruding rays. Not to much avail of course since sunlight had a tendency to seep in through any opening it was given.
It was warm too, a gentle, unfamiliar warmth that seemed to surround you, seeping into your bones and tempting you again and again with the comfortable lull of sleep.
However, your brain knew that it was morning now and no matter how tight you closed your eyes or how deep you snuggled back into the blankets, you weren't going to be able to go back to sleep.
With a resigned sigh, you let your hand fall back down to your side, allowing your eyes to flutter gently open. The sight that greeted you was no less than disorienting.
You had been right, the sunlight was coming from the wrong side of the room. Maybe because this wasn't your room. Sitting up, your still drowsy brain decided that it was time to take a look around. The room wasn't extravagant, but not quite bare either. That wasn't what caught your attention however.
On the ground just a few feet from the edge of the bed lay a pile of clothing. It occurred very slowly to your still offline brain that some of that was yours. You could see it from here, the worn pants from your Knight's of Favonius uniform and that lacy black bra you had bought a few days ago in an effort to feel just a little more sexy. Oh how you loved that bra.
The other half of the clothing however, was a bit of a mystery. Cocking your head, you identified a pair of brown boots, what looked like black gloves, and fluffy white fur collar. Those seemed familiar for some reason.
It was at that moment that you felt the bed shift slightly under you. With a soft gasp, you whirled around, drowsiness falling away in sudden panic as you prepared for an ambush.
You were not however, prepared for what you did see.
It was no secret that Kaeya was a beautiful man. From the deep navy of his hair to the physique his work as a captain had earned him, he was attractive and he knew it. The sight before you now however, was by far the most beautiful side of Kaeya you had ever seen.
His face was turned towards you, half buried in the pillow his head was resting on, silky strands of hair fanned around him in a deep blue halo. The sunlight that had so rudely awoken you cast gentle rays on his face, turning his tanned skin golden and accentuating the line of his collarbone not concealed by the covers. Perhaps the most majestic part however, was his expression. Kaeya was an expressive man and you'd seen just about every emotion, real or fake, cross his features at one point or another. Now however, all those exaggerated angles were gone and for once in his life, the Cavalry Captain looked relaxed. And then he shifted just a bit, the covers rising slightly to reveal the side of his toned torso.
Relaxed and naked apparently...
"Oh shi-" you smacked a hand over your mouth, eyes blowing wide open in horror as things actually started to register. Kaeya Alberich was in your bed. Or no, you were in his? And he was naked. And you were also definitely naked. And-
Unbidden, images of last night rushed forth and you remembered.
"My beautiful [name], would you be so kind as to join me at the tavern this evening?"
That was what had started it. A simple invitation when you really needed a drink. If you remembered correctly, Kaeya hadn't been much better considering how many bottles of wine you two had gotten through before Diluc had grown cross and kicked you out.
You remembered very well, the midnight wind in your hair and Kaeya's hand on your shoulder as you drunkenly braved the streets of Mondstat. And then somehow, you'd been at his place. You just wanted to make sure that he was safe as you knew all too well the kind of messes drunk Kaeya could manage to get himself into.
Yes, you had just wanted to drop him off. But then he was so close to you and you were breathing in his scent, that stupidly comforting scent that you'd been trying for weeks to ignore. His lips were at your ear and he was asking you something in a desperate, very un-Kaeya voice.
"Please, can I kiss you?"
And you nodded because of course you did. No matter what the logical part of your brain tried to tell you every single time you were near him, you knew. This was what you had been hoping for, dreaming of ever since you had met him. You had told yourself it was impossible, that his flirtatious words were a luxury that everyone got to experience, thrown about with no less care than a comment about the weather.
But now, those words were saved just for you. Whispers of "you look so beautiful like this" and "you're so good for me" spoken softly enough that your doubted even the wind could catch them. And then his hands were on you, cold cryo fingertips tracing up your waist and then to your back as they worked at hooks and pulled you further into him.
And your hands were in his hair and then on the clasps of his corset and the ties of his pants, yanking and throwing as though they were the things you hated most in the world. Perhaps at that point in your life, they had been. And then he had been on you, pushing you down into the bed as you arched upwards to meet him, the feeling of wanting to touch him the strongest thing you had felt in your entire life. And then he had reached down...
And... you had slept with your coworker.
It took all the self control in you not to leap out of the bed immediately as you considered your options. There was no way you could stay around until Kaeya woke up. Or, could you? Again, there was that voice in your brain, begging you to just nestle back into the covers and savor this time you got to spend with him. You had to ignore it. This wasn't anything special after all right? You two had just needed to blow off some steam and had seen each other as convenient.
Kaeya was just that kind of guy right? No strings attached, no commitments.
It didn't matter that just seeing him roaming the courtyard from your office window was enough to spike your heart rate through roof. That when he stood a little too close to you during meetings, you had to ball your hands into fists to resist grabbing the lapels of his jacket and smashing your lips into his right then and there.
"Please..." he had said. This stupid beautiful man was going to be the end of you.
"I just have to get out..." you muttered under your breath, pushing yourself into a sitting position in hopes that action would clear your thoughts. You got halfway off the bed when you heard it.
"And where do you think you're going?"
The world went cold. It took you a moment to work up the courage to turn towards the voice, eyes still wide in surprise as you did. You could have sworn that Kaeya was asleep. Everything had suggested it from the uniform rhythm of his breath to the limpness of his splayed arms.
And yet, there he was, very much awake, one visible eye glinting in amusement at your reaction.
"So the eyepatch stays on during sex..." was the only thought your brain could produce in that moment and you honestly could have slapped yourself.
"G-Good morning Kaeya..." you decided on instead, though it only seemed to amuse the man further as he too sat up right behind you.
"Good morning to you too. And to think you were trying to sneak out just a moment ago without saying anything to me..." He was close again, his breath on your ear sending a shiver down your spine. Slowly, his arms came up, sliding under yours before closing right underneath your chest, pulling you into his.
You wriggled slightly in his grip, breathe hitching as his lips made their way down, grazing against your neck. "I-I thought you'd like that better. Since this... this is just a one-time thing." The words hurt to get out and you felt Kaeya stiffen slight behind you.
Without warning, you were yanked backwards, a soft yelp escaping your lips as you found yourself nestled amongst the pillows once again, though this time, a pair of arms encircled you, caging you in with nowhere to run.
Kaeya's periwinkle eye looked down at you when your panicked gaze flew up to meet his, steady and more sincere than you were sure you had ever before seen.
"Now, is that what you really think of our relationship? I'm hurt..." He reached over, taking your chin gently in his fingers as he angled your head up towards him. "Do you want this to be a one-time thing?"
You gulped.
"No. I want you forever. I want you all the time and I just want you to want me too."
You couldn't say it. You couldn't risk it.
Kaeya must have mistaken your silence of a yes however as he retracted his hands immediately. He pulled himself off of you, settling on the edge of the bed with his back to you. It may have just been that stupid thing called hope, but for a moment, you thought that you say hurt in his gorgeous eye.
"Ah I see, well that's fine as well. For what it was, that was a pretty fun night. Shall we go get breakfast or something?" That had to be pain. He was good at hiding his emotions, but you knew Kaeya better than anyone. He was hurt.
"... no."
"Not a breakfast person? That's alright then, you're welcome to see yourself out whenever you'd like."
"No I don't want it to be a one-time thing. I want you Kaeya, for as long as you'll let me." You didn't know where the words were coming from but when he whirled to face you once more, hope in his eyes, you knew you couldn't stop. "So, please don't make me leave?"
Apparently that was all it took as you barely got a moment to breathe before his lips were on yours. It took you a moment but you returned the kiss, hands reaching up to pull him down into you. His lips were hungry, threatening to devour you if you didn't hold your ground. Unconsciously, you arched against him and through the kiss, you could feel his smile.
There was a strange warm feeling growing in your chest that only seemed to amplify the moment Kaeya pulled away, the most genuine smile you had ever seen from him plastered over his lips.
"Oh darling, you have no idea what you just got yourself into..."
note: maybe i'll write one of these for a bunch of characters... you guys wanna see that?

Polyamorous Relationship w/ Joe & Cherry: Your Problems, My Problems, Our Problems
A/N: first of all, I'm so honoured to hear that I got you into anime :) Secondly, I can already feel that this request is going to be fun to write! I'll make sure to add an engagement fic to the series soon as well because I've been meaning to anyway. So happy that so many people seem to really like this series as much as I do.
Rating: PG13
Warnings: stalking, predatory behaviour, slightly angsty, profanity, someone who does NOT drink their 'respect women' juice
"Awh, come on, Sweetheart." Your coworker slipped into the elevator with you at the last second despite your desperate attempt to escape him at the end of the day. "Just one drink and then I'll never ask again."
You clenched your fist by your side on the opposite side of him so he wouldn't see. Mustering all of your strength, you forced a fake smile. "Sorry, I can't tonight. I've got plans with my boyfriend."
You had been dropping these not-so-subtle hints that you absolutely were not interested for months on end by now, but your coworker was either completely blinded by his persistence or was willingly ignoring them in favour of achieving his goal.
At first, when you had transferred to his floor at the company building, he had come across as nothing more than a kind mentor offering to show you the ropes. But then, bit by bit, he got pushier. 'Get to know your coworkers' dinners soon turned to just the two of you alone at a bar, which quickly turned into a situation that you found uncomfortable and ever since then, you had turned down all of his advances.
In the beginning, you had tried to make your excuses believable and turn him down nicely since he was above you in the company, but as the weeks passed and he still didn't seem to get the message, your responses got shorter and less believable. Now he was asking you out pretty much every day, multiple times a day. Sometimes he would even follow you to your car to make sure you were going home just like you said you were.
You weren't sure when it had happened, exactly, but things had gone from annoying to anxiety-inducing seemingly overnight and you had no idea what to do about it.
"You always mention this 'boyfriend' of yours," he used air quotes to make it clear that he didn't believe you, "but I've never seen him. Sure you aren't lying just to get me to go away?"
You chuckled nervously, hoping to come up with a quick answer to satisfy him for the night so that he wouldn't feel the need to tail you to your car. "No, of course not. He just has a busy work schedule as well. You know how it is."
He eyed you sternly, his gaze almost piercing. "Hmm," he hummed, contemplating. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then. Goodnight."
As soon as the elevator doors slid open on the main floor of the building, he gave a wave and exited before you and headed for the front doors. Slowly, you followed him out, and as soon as you saw him disappear into the darkness of the night, you exhaled shakily and took a moment to regain your composure.
You honestly didn't know how you managed to seem so calm and collected around him on the daily considering your heart always pounded ruthlessly against your rib cage whenever you saw him.
Once you were fully composed again, you made your way to your car as fast as possible and drove back home, knowing that seeing Joe and Cherry would immediately make you feel better; not that they knew their presence was something you relied on at the end of the day because you refused to tell them.
At first, you kept it to yourself because it seemed harmless and you didn't want them to overreact and blow up at nothing, but then, as it got worse, it just seemed like the time to tell them had passed. And the last thing you wanted to do was worry them when they both already had exhausting work lives as well.
You simply didn't want to be a burden. You were sure they dealt with annoying coworkers as well and they didn't feel the need to bother you with those stupid little problems, so you wouldn't either.
Walking through the front door of your shared apartment, you felt a weight lift from your shoulders at the sight of Cherry at his desk and Joe sitting on the couch with the television playing some show on low volume.Â
âIâm home,â you announced with a weary, but genuine, smile on your face. Before either of your boyfriends could utter a response, you had kicked off your shoes, made your way over to the couch, and curled up next to Joe with your face buried in his neck. His hair was wet, indicating he had just gotten out of the shower, and the smell of his shampoo and body wash calmed you instantly.
âHey.â Joe wrapped an arm around you as he shared a quizzical look with Cherry. Usually, you would get changed, shower, and eat something before even thinking about relaxing for the night. âEverything okay?â
Realizing that you had basically announced that everything was not, in fact, okay with your unusual actions, you froze for a second. You contemplated just coming clean about everything right then and there, but before you could make a decision, the words âIâm fineâ were spilling from your mouth.
âJust a long and exhausting day at work,â you followed up your lie with some details, not they they were technically false as it had been a long and exhausting day . . . just not for the reasons they thought. âIâve been thinking about coming home to you two ever since my alarm went off this morning. Just one of those days.â
The sweet smiles that dawned Joeâs and Cherryâs faces proved that they believed you. âYou hungry?â Joe pressed a kiss to your temple. âI brought home some leftovers from work again.â
Your eyes lit up and Joe chuckled. âReally?â You found yourself forgetting about your troubles in the blink of an eye.Â
âReally really.â Joe nodded. âI can heat some up for you if you want to shower and get changed.â
Pulling a dramatically emotional face, you faked a sniffle. âYouâre the best, you know that?â You planted a big kiss to his lips before heading for the bedroom and stopping in the doorway. âYouâre the best too, Kaoru,â you added for good measure so your other boyfriend didnât feel left out before vanishing into the bedroom.Â
You heard Cherry scoff amusingly in the background, but by then you were in too good of a mood to throw something snarky back at him and were determined to enjoy the moment because you knew that this good feeling would disappear as soon as you started work again in the morning.Â
But for now, you could enjoy the comforts of your home and the two people you loved most in the world.
                       ââââââââ
As you finished your work for the day and got ready to head home, overjoyed that it was the last night you would have to work overtime for a while, you were surprised that you had managed to get through the day with little interaction or pestering from your coworker.
You didnât want to jinx yourself or anything, but for a brief moment the thought that he had finally given up crossed your mind. Out of the corner of your eye, you scanned the office for him but he was nowhere to be seen. Sighing in relief, you gathered your things and made a bee-line for the elevator.
For once, you had managed to get through an entire day without being cornered and asked out for the millionth time.Â
As the elevator doors opened and you stepped out into the lobby, you spotted two familiar faces waiting for you at the front doors and you felt your heart swell with excitement. You had expected both your boyfriends to be busy tonight with work, the same as you were, so seeing them both standing there, waiting for you with flowers in hand, was a welcomed surprised.
Thinking that today was actually a good day for once, you rose your hand to wave with a grin on your face, a feeling of freedom and joy spreading through you . . . that was until you felt a hand clasp down on your shoulder. You didnât have to turn around to know who it was. Immediately, your good mood had vanished.
Slowly, you lowered your handâyour smile fading in the processâand turned around to face your coworker.Â
âThought you could get away without me noticing?â His grin was wide and toothy, like a predator showing off its fangs to prove how powerful it was. He didnât pay any mind to Joe or Cherry, which meant that he either didnât know they were there for you or didnât care.Â
âIâm actually in a bit of a hurry.â You gestured over to your boyfriends, hoping that the realization that your significant other was real would finally be enough to scare him off. âIâve got plans.â
He glanced Joe and Cherryâs way briefly, but it did nothing to deter him. âOh, so you do actually have a boyfriend. Which one is he?â
You swallowed hard. Usually, explaining the whole polyamory thing was too time-consuming so you told people you had a boyfriend and left it at that. âItâs, well . . . um . . .â
Before you were forced to answer, Joe and Cherry had noticed your discomfort from across the lobby and started making their way over. The look in Joeâs eyes gave away that he was none too pleased that your male coworker still had his hand on your shoulder.Â
âThis must be one of your coworkers,â Cherry was the first to speak, extending his hand politely to your coworker. âNice to meet you.â
Your coworker used his free hand to shake Cherryâs while Joe just grunted in disapproval. In a desperate attempt to escape the situation without causing a scene, you tried to shift closer to Joe but were stopped by your coworkerâs hand clamping down harder on your shoulder.Â
âWeâre the boyfriends.â Joeâs grip tightened around the bouquet of flowers he was holding as he reached out, wrapped an arm around your waist, and pulled you away from your coworker and toward him.Â
âBoyfriends? As in plural?â Your coworker tilted his head at you quizzically. âYou never told me you had two boyfriends.â
âI never-â you started, but you were quickly cut off.
âIâm a little surprised youâre real,â your coworker said, somehow seemingly completely unfazed. âI was seriously beginning to believe she was making you up to avoid going out with me.â
You shook your head and chuckled nervously, something you found yourself doing around him a lot in order to keep the mood light. âI would never lie to you. Itâs just busy schedules is all, like I said yesterday.â
âGoing out with you?â Cherry cocked a brow and crossed his arms over his chest. âThe woman tells you she has a boyfriend and you still insist on asking her out?â
Your coworker just laughed. âWell we used to go out all the time when she first switched departments. I thought she was just playing hard to get but I guess not.â
Both Joe and Cherry turned to you, glimmers of confusion in their eyes. âYou used to go out?â Joe asked, concerned that they had just found out you had been cheating on them.Â
âNo!â you blurted out. âWell, I mean, yes, but it was as a group of coworkers. Never just the two of us.â
âNever?â your coworker repeated. âWhat about those times at the bar? Did you seriously forget? That hurts my feelings, you know.â
You felt your cheeks flush red and your heart begin to pound. Suddenly, you had been backed into a corner by your past selfâs naive kindness. âI didnât know it was going to be just the two of us until I showed up,â you stated quietly. âYou lied to me to get me to go.â
âIs that true?â Joe placed a finger under your chin and lifted your head to get you to look him in the eyes. You could tell he wasnât accusing you of anything, only looking for answers.
You nodded, finally feeling brave enough to tell the truth with your boyfriends by your side. âOnce I realized he was after something more, I started turning down his propositions. Then he started asking me every day . . . then he started following me to my car,â you whispered the last part, worried about what might happen if your coworker heard you say that part. âCan we please leave now?â
Noticing that your hands were shaking and your bottom lip was quivering, Joe instantly knew that you were telling the truth; no one would ever be so terrified to tell a lie like this. âYes, of course, we can leave now.â He held you closer. âWhatever you want.â
âSo youâre gonna lie and make me look like the bad guy here?â your coworker huffed, truly playing the victim card to the fullest. âIâm the asshole because I wanted to buy you a few drinks and get to know you better?â
âNo, youâre the asshole for continuing to pursue her when she clearly told you no,â Cherry snapped, now just as angry as Joe was, maybe even more. âSheâs kind and, because of that, probably turned you down nicelyâtoo nicelyâand you took advantage of that . . . you fucking prick.â
Your eyes widened with disbelief. Usually, Cherry was the one to remain calm in stressful or aggravating situations, but apparently not this time. You rarely heard him curse or snap, let alone at someone he met for the first time five minutes ago.Â
Reaching out, you grabbed hold of Cherryâs hand and squeezed lightly to catch his attention. âI really think we should leave now,â you told him.Â
Drawing in a deep breath and collecting himself, Cherry agreed. âYes, youâre right, we should. We have dinner plans and it would be a waste to miss them on account of this asshole.â
âFine, have it your way.â Your coworker finally seemed to give in, but not without hurling a few insults your way first, of course. âI shouldnât have wasted my time on someone like you anyway. What, two boyfriends is perfectly fine but three is crossing a line? Give me a fucking break. Slut.â
You saw the rage bubbling up in both Joe and Cherry, but before they had the chance to do anything about it, your coworker had turned his nose up at the three of you, pushed his way past, and exited the building.Â
As soon as he was completely out of sight, they both turned to you and you felt the tears begin to well in your eyes; not necessarily because you were sad or angry, but because you were so relieved that the truth had finally come out and your coworker had finally been dealt with.Â
âIâm so sorry,â you spoke through gentle sobs, trying to calm down all the while. âI should have told you two about him when it all first started but I just didnât want to burden you two with an issue that seemed so . . . so stupid.â
âStupid?â Joe pulled you in for an almost bone-crushing hug. âYou said he was following you to your car. Thatâs not stupid. You must have been so scared.â
âYou should have told us,â Cherry agreed. âNow that I know you were dealing with that all by yourself for months, it makes me feel like a bad boyfriend. I should have picked up on the signs, like when you came home completely drained last night. I wish we could have helped you sooner.â
Wiping away your tears, you drew in a deep breath. âThank you for coming tonight and for telling him off. I just hope he doesnât pull anything at work tomorrow . . . he is technically my superior.â
âIf he tries anything, and I mean anything, you tell us right away. Okay?â Joe insisted. âFrom now on, no more secrets because you want to protect us or donât want to burden us. Your problems are our problems.â
You nodded. âOkay. Thank you.â
âYou donât need to thank us. Itâs our job to keep you safe and be there for you.â Cherry kissed your cheek softly. âNow, Iâm starving so letâs go eat, yeah?â
Suddenly, you remembered just how hungry you were. âYes, dinner sounds lovely.â
âSpeaking of lovely, these are for you.â Joe handed you the bouquet of flowersânow with slightly smushed stems from his previous angerâthat he had brought.Â
âThey are beautiful.â You took them happily and gave them a smell, the floral scent bringing your nerves down a little. âYou two seriously are the best, you know that?â
âWe know.â

EARLY TRYST // Light Yagami x Reader
word count : 4534 genre : fluff <333 ! crack-ish, pre-kira!light, all that mushy mushy stuff, best friends to lovers because who doesnât love that trope?
a/n : iâm not sure if iâve posted this here before but iâm fairly certain that i havenât oh godric youâll have to forgive me if i had --
Who wakes up 5:00 early on a Saturday morning just to bug their neighbor to have a match with them?
Technically, you did. You were bored, and the first thing that came to your mind was playing your favorite sport with one of your bestfriends, who's also your neighbor, Light. Surely he wouldn't mind, would he? But it mattered not since he also did the same to you back then, insisting you two bike together just because he wanted a companion and knew you wouldn't refuse. You were hella pissed even so, and now it's your turn to get revenge.
You brought a ladder, placing it just enough to reach the window to his bedroom on the second floor. You eventually climbed up, practically pressing your face against  the window to get a clearer sight of him sleeping peacefully on his bed, his angelic face barely visible as it was partially covered with his blanket.
'Say goodbye to your sweet dreams, lover boy.'
You thought and knocked on the window loud enough for him to hear. Your first tries were futile so you knocked a little louder and more violent. To his dismay, Light woke up with a teeny-bit of panic in his chest. Creasing his eyebrow and squinting his eyes, he looked at the window, seeing a familiar figure. You snickered as he awakened, languidly making his way to the window, an irritated look on his face when he met your eyes.
He opened the window. "[Y/N], what the hell are you doing here? What time is it?"
"About time for you to play with me."
"Huh? Play with you? You're acting strangely childish. I was still sleeping." He clicked his tongue. You chuckled and shook your head. "Aw, sleeping beauty is upset because his dream was left unfinished. Don't worry, his dashing savior is here to make him feel better."
"You mean worse."
"Bad!" You playfully punched his shoulder. "Says the one who still has sleep in his eyes."
"Of course I have. You just woke me up." He scowled, turning his back at you and rubbing the sleep from his eyes, his face a little flushed.
"Heh, don't be shy!" You teased, wobbling a little in your position.
"I'm not shy! Tch, seriously though, you're in a ladder? You only made it harder for yourself when you could've just knocked on the main door. Mom and dad are already awake. They'd let you in."
"Eh? But I was shy- you know- err, how am I supposed to say 'Can I go to Light's room or something?'" You blushed a little. He hummed in response and gave an understanding look. "Come on in."
"I can't fit in here- just meet me outside. I'll wait for ya."
"You got yourself in this so don't turn back now. You can fit but in another position." Before you could reply, he suddenly grabbed your arms and indicated you to push your head inside. You did, whimpering as he pulled you in by grabbing you by the armpits, your faces almost bumping in the process. You gave a squeal as you felt your feet of the ladder, causing you to grip him tighter, almost hugging him-or maybe even inhaling him.
For a better description you basically looked like a flying fish from outside who's getting devoured by a portal.
With all his might, Light pulled you in until your whole body finally got inside. Of course, as he was secretly anticipating to, you both fell on the ground, with you on top of him, your head against his chest.
You immediately stood up and accidentally stepped on his ankle, resulting a loud whimper from him.
"Oof."
"That hurt, you know."
"Sorry. But-" You both heard a loud crash from outside. You were certain that the ladder you used had fallen, and it was so loud you swore some of your neighbors woke up. "...As I was saying... That was a dangerous way to get me inside. I could've fallen."
"Too bad you didn't."
"How rude!" You scoffed. You jauntily walked towards his bed, flopping down as if it's your own. It felt so soft, and it kinda smelled like him too.
You closed your eyes and spread your arms. His expression softened that he couldn't hide a smile which you thankfully didn't see. He cleared his throat and picked up a pillow, throwing it at your face.
"Hey, I'll go get some coffee. Want some?"
"I've already drank one, but sure!"
"No wonder you're already so hyper. Now get out of my bed."
"Fine." You scoffed and got up, walking behind him on the way downstairs, making yourself smaller so they wouldn't notice.
"Light! You're up early." Sachiko greeted.
"Yeah, and it's her fault." He slid right to reveal your cowering figure. You shyly greeted his mother, flushing pink. "Oh hello [Y/N]! I didn't see you come in. Were you in Light's room the whole night? You two had a sleep-over..?"
"No mom. Why would we do that? She just has her own ways of disturbing my sleep. Is dad still here?"
"He's on the living room and just about to leave. I'll make you two breakfast."
"That's not necessary. We just need some coffee, after that we'll.. What are we gonna do again?"
"Play badminton outside."
"It's still a bit dark, don't you think?"
"It's alright. The sun is about to rise. It'll rise quickly." Light replied to his mom, taking two cups and then pouring hot water on them. "Mild coffee [Y/N]?"
"Nope. Black coffee will do."
"Didn't you already-"
"It was creamy white. It was bland for my liking. I need something stronger." You cheekily replied. He sighed and started mixing your coffee and then his own. "If I recall, yesterday I saw you walking home while drinking that black iced coffee from the convenience store. Too much caffeine is unhealthy."
"Yes, Sir Light, noted." You grinned, blowing your drink before taking a sip. "Hey, not funny. I'm genuinely concerned."
"Concern appreciated."
You both entered the living room, greeting his father who eventually got up, off to work. You sat beside Light as you both watched Sachiko kiss Soichiro goodbye. You smiled and mumbled an 'aw,' nudging Light and causing him to slightly spill the coffee he was about to drink.
"What?" He looked at you then to his parents.
"Nothing."
"Ah, I get it. You wanna do that with someone someday, don't you?"
"That's not-"
"It's okay. We all daydream like that, even me. So don't be shy."
"I'm not shy!"
"There goes my line."
"Hmp. So who's the lucky girl, or boy, you daydream about?"
"Why are you suddenly interested? Well what about you?"
"You didn't answer my question."
"Because that doesn't matter-"
"Unfair. You're so secretive."
"Fair enough since you're just as secretive as I am. You don't even tell me the guys you like, and I'm your bestfriend."
"Because that doesn't matter-"
"Why do you keep on stealing my lines?"
"Oi that's not the point! I mean come on, an honor student like you rarely talks about romance so when you do, of course I must know. I am your best friend after all."
Light cringed, chuckling. "There's nothing special about that."
"Pfft. Honor students like you are so busy with studying that you rarely have time for romance."
"What? No. Look at you, you're an honor student yourself."
"Yeah but I mean the pros, like you. The valedictorians, first honors."
"Just because I don't that about romance doesn't mean I don't think about it. But like you said, I rarely think about it."
"Ooh! So who is the lucky one?"
"Why do you want to know?"
You puffed your cheeks. Honestly you had no idea too. Let's just say you were... curious.
"I need to gather information. I need some information to sip. Either way I'll figure it out when I start my investigation."
"No."
"Augh- I'll disown you, Light Yagami."
He put his cup down, looking at you.
"It's not really possible to disown the person you like, you know."
The coffee that you were drinking almost came out of your nostrils.
"Don't have so much hubris on yourself. I can do a ten-paged essay about why you are so dislikeable."
"But you can do an essay about why you like me ten times longer than that."
"I am so going to hit your ugly being!"
His smile only grew wider, fascination twinkling in his eyes.
"Hit me with your sweet love, maybe I won't mind."
Not blushing wasn't really an option. He burst out of laughter as you'd been left speechless. You continuously punched his arm, but he never stopped laughing. And his laughter was indeed infectious.
As you two were having fun, you suddenly felt eyes on your back. You stopped and turned around, seeing Light's mother slyly smiling at the both of you as she slithered away towards the kitchen. You and Light avoided each other's gaze for a moment and blushed, finishing your coffees wordlessly instead.
"Well, I'll go change now. You wait here."
"Let me come with you-"
Light raised an eyebrow. "What a pervert you are, [Y/N]."
"NO! That is not what I meant!"
"Well what did you mean?"
"I mean, let me wait outside your room instead," You leaned in, whispering. "What if your mom comes here and talks to me? I mean.. I'm super shy around her."
He nodded in agreement but then he added, "There's no need to be shy around your future mother though."
'This smooth-talking bastard!' You sighed and rubbed your nape, 50% about to roll your eyes and 50% about to blush again. You knew what he meant by that. He had always been a tease to you. But you decided to play against his will.
"Wow. I didn't know that the Yagami family will adopt me someday."
"Tch, dummy."
"Did you just call me dummy?"
"What? Of course not! You really need to clean your ears. I said dumplings. Your cheeks remind me of them. And now I'm hungry."
"You are awful!" For the nth time in history, you hit his arm. "I'm really gonna disown you in one of these days. Now get your ass moving already so we can conquer the street first."
"Well you were the one constantly blabbering and delaying things here-"
"Beca-"
"Shut up."
"Pft. Fine." He pulled you up, holding your wrist even on the way back to his bedroom.
After about five minutes of changing to a plain white t-shirt and jogging pants, matching yours by the way, you two headed out the neighborhood. You picked up the rackets and shuttlecock you had left on the ground, handing him one.
"We don't really have a net-"
"Oh come on! This is just a friendly match, so there's no need for that."
"What about the scores? We can play somehow else if you'd like."
"That's not necessary. I'm making the rules, and the only rule here is that the opponent gets the score if you fail to prevent the birdie from hitting the ground."
"That's not how you play badminton.."
"I am well aware of that. I used to be a part of the school's badminton team, hello? But I make my own rules here." You grinned slyly. He shook his head. "There's no fun in this. You just woke me up to make me do some pointless things with you."
You were actually a little offended by that. You puffed your cheeks and crossed your arms.
"Is it bad that I just wanna have some quality-time with my friend? And to get my revenge, too."
What you said made his heart leap a little, and he was having a hard time resisting the urge to smile. But in the end, he only snarled against his own will. "Let's get this done quick. I'll make sure to destroy you."
"Oh, you wish."
And the game started. The eerie silence vanished, replaced by your grunts, pants, and intense movements. The sky was eventually transitioning from a dim purple to a pale yellow one as you two played, eyes focused on nothing but the shuttle, sweat dripping down your bodies. Light was just as determined as you were to beat his ass. The scores were being mentally recorded by you two-no cheating of course. It was a pretty fair game. One moment you'd be on the lead, but he'd take it, and you'd take it back, and the cycle continued. He was the worthiest opponent for you in this, and he thought the same about you.
The deal was a maximum of 50 scores. Currently, Light was leading and almost close to winning. Certainly you didn't want to get beaten so you struck the shuttle at a perfect angle with just enough force. It flew fast; you were sure he'd miss it. But his reflex was quick, and he struck it with a force much stronger than yours-but his flawed angle sent the shuttle flying higher than he intended it to, and it unfortunately landed on one of your neighbor's roof.
That neighbor just so happened to be the one you two-no, the whole neighborhood-absolutely detested.
Light rubbed his nape and laughed nervously, seeing your grimace. "I'll give the score to you then. So, you have an extra shuttle?"
"Unfortunately that's my last one." You facepalmed. You used to have lots of shuttlecocks but you just kept on losing them since everytime you play with someone, they'd either get destroyed in the process or fly too high and land on unaccessible places, just like what happened.
He frowned. "Seriously? What about inside your house? I'm sure there are a bunch of them tangled in your mess."
"I told you that was my last one. I haven't been able to buy more of them so yeah. But thanks to this nerdy friend of mine, I'm now left with none."
You were only being sarcastic, but it sounded way too derisive for him that he felt somehow guilty.
"Now what do we do.." You pouted to yourself. He averted his gaze which then met the ladder from earlier, a brilliant idea crossing his mind. But the last thing he wanted to do was to get involved, in any way, with that awful neighbor. A grim expression crossed his face and you saw it as you walked closer to him.
"Hey, I'm not actually mad at you, dummy."
"No- I mean, that's a relief. But I think I can retrieve it with the ladder. They might notice me though."
You snorted, but at least there was still a way to save that shuttle. You then looked at the sky. The sun was now rawly smiling at you. Surely those rogues weren't awake yet.
"You know what? I'll do it myself."
"Don't. You might fall. I'll go do it. It's a gentleman's job after all." He grinned. "Do you think they're awake?"
"I don't think so. The curtains are closed anyway."
"Alright. In case I fall, you stay below."
"Okay, Princess Light. I'll catch you using these strong manly arms of mine. Muah!"
"Ew."
Thankfully they didn't have a second floor so the ladder's height was alright- although still short. Once Light had climbed up, you stayed below, holding the ladder just to stay sure.
"Damn. How did it get that far?" He struggled to reach it with his racket, even with his arms and body stretched already. After a few valiant attempts, he sighed and steadied himself a little. He had an idea of climbing the roof but the risk of falling down in the process was high. And he certainly didn't want to squash you either.
"Well this is hopeless."
"Don't give up now, my princess!" You continuously poked his butt with the handle of your racket, causing him to give you a death glare, wobbling a little in his position.
"Are you asking to get squashed? Stop that or I'll fall on you."
"That was just to power you up, silly! Don't you dare fall on me."
"How about falling for you?"
"Bitch."
"Now now, don't say bad words!"
He chuckled and was about to continue his mission when suddenly, the curtains flew open, revealing a grotesque face of a woman staring at Light's crotch-because that's where the window was apparently placed.
Let's just say that you two never want to recall that twenty-minute rebuking that you swore went on even as you two had already left the neighborhood, heading elsewhere.
"That went well." Light heaved a sigh, poking your racket with his as you two walked side by side. You nodded.
"Mission failed. Geez, that woman just wouldn't stop talking and bombarding us with malarkey. I'm starting to hate her."
"To be honest who doesn't? The whole neighborhood hates her as far as I know."
"Pfft, right. So what do we do now?"
He poked your cheeks, and poked, and poked, before pinching them so hard.
"Stop your fetish for my cheeks! This is abuse!"
He laughed, a genuine kind. He didn't reply but put an arm over your shoulder. You puffed your cheeks and played along.
"Where are we going?"
"I'm a bit hungry. So let's head to the convenience store."
"Unsurprising but I didn't bring any money with me."
"Not a single cent?"
"Noooope."
"I guess it's fine since I'll be the one treating you. You should be thankful." You only smiled.
On the way to the store you noticed a group of older and drunk men resting on the side of the street. Their eyes pierced uncomfortably through you. You lowered your head, still feeling their laviscious stares nonetheless. Light also noticed this, and so he pressed himself to you. You hadn't even passed them and when you did, the inevitable came. They cackled, whistling and calling you by names as they rapped the table for attention.
You ignored them and thankfully, they didn't bother you more. "Those bastards." You heard your companion clicking his tongue in annoyance, looking back at the drunk men. He saw where their gazes were and it strongly disgusted him. There was an unnerving silence as you two arrived at the store.
You both had hotdogs with buns and ice cream which was your specific request and which Light reluctantly complied to. The two of you were sitting side by side, looking through the glass wall and discussing mostly about school projects and then some gossips which all came from you. After running out of food to munch on, Light went back to buy a huge bag of chips you two would be sharing.
The sky was now a saturated mixture of orange and yellows. People strolling outside were quickly multiplying until eventually the sidewalk got packed. Few vehicles came passing by. The day was starting for a lot.
"Those guys often do that to you?"
Snapping back to reality, you cooed, "Pardon me?"
"The drunk men we just came across with, was it the first time they've called you out like that?"
"Nope. They're always out drinking.." You saw him creasing his brows. "I know what you're thinking. Well they can't be help so don't think too much about it."
"Can't be help or not, that's still wrong. Did you see the way they looked at your curves? Those men reek danger for a young woman like you. Who knows what their next moves are?" Clenching his fist, he growled. He was truly worried for you. He knew how the world is full of suspicious people like them, and who knows that they're capable of doing?
"Now now worry-wart, don't be so angry."
"Why didn't you tell me sooner? You should really start walking home with me early. Does it kill you to immediately go home after school even when you have no business there anymore?"
He got you there. "But I don't want to instantly go home."
"Keep thinking like that and you might never be able to go home again."
You pursed your lips at how scary he made that sound. "Listen, [Y/N]. In this world, there are only a few people you can actually trust. And those guys? They're not looking worthy of someone's trust, even one bit. They're also not the only possible threats to you. Anyone you don't know, or even who you're acquainted with, could be. Even if they look so charming. I'm saying this as a warning, and as your friend. The way they looked at you really triggered me. I can't let you continue your routine anymore. Sure, I know you're going to argue that there's lots of bystanders in case something happens, but that's not always the case. And we're not even sure if they'll help you or proceed to give a blind eye to it."
There came a long pause as you absorbed his words. Hearing them made you feel grateful for having a friend like him-someone who speaks up because he cares about you and your safety. You merely nodded with your mouth agape.
"..I-I'll do as you say then. Thank you Light, really. I appreciate your concern. You give the best advices.. I-you're one of the best people out there."
"Sorry to suddenly explode like that." He smiled, and your heart softened. You asked, "And so, by saying that.. You trust me?"
"Needless to ask dummy. I wouldn't have said that if I didn't."
"Thank you. You know I trust you too. You're one of the people who's worth my trust." You flushed pink as you scratched your nape. This kind of conversation will always make you shy.
"You don't have to say thank you to me for trusting you. And what you said.. You're worth trusting, too."
You didn't argue. The following minutes were silent as you two stared at the void while eating potato chips. You didn't have any new topics in mind, and he seemed to be lost in his thoughts-or his daydreams. You didn't want to interrupt whatever was going on in that complex mind of his.
You absently stood up, craving for another black coffee, but you halted and went back when you remembered you didn't have your own money.
"Oh? You want something?"
"I want coffee. Well- if you don't mind. Ehehehe."
"That I am not going to buy for you. That's going to be your third coffee and the day's only starting."
"Hmph. Forgot I have a mom for a friend. But anyway, you good? You seemed to be thinking about something rather serious earlier."
"Yeah, I'm fine." He smiled. Although he was really deep in thought of something-but what was it?
As he'd already said, he trusted you. He had been friends with you since middle school. He developed the ability to read through your mind. With you both growing closer day by day, he had already memorized your hobbies, your predictably unpredictable schedules, your common moods, your personality, and your flaws as a human being. Heck, he could even write an entire biography book about you with all the facts 99% accurate if he wanted to.
To him, you were fascinating, despite the fact that you weren't his âidealâ girl. But as they say, some ideals are bound to get broken when something unexpected and much more interesting comes along the way. Sure, you couldn't read his mind as good as he read yours. You couldn't decipher and foresee what his next moves would be very well, wasn't in the exact same level as he was, but he grew attached to you. He trusted you, which was a rare thing for him to do-and consider the fact that trust is a hard thing to earn. You were an honest person, mildly annoying at some point to him. You're one that's willing to help others too. Rarely gets the initiative, but when you do, you execute amazing plans and actions.
The world is ugly, indeed, but he considered you to be one of those who made it less that way. You were one of the beautiful people in this ugly, mundane world. And that, he admired you for.
He couldn't see you as just a friend anymore. He could basically see through you, like you were his other half-like you were meant to be. You were someone he could connect with, someone he trusts, someone he could love. The label 'bestfriends' bothered him because he felt like it didn't suit you both, because something else did.
A couple.
And going back, what he was thinking about was the act of courting you and becoming your boyfriend. But doubts flooded his mind, such as you two being too young for romance, the possibility of your parents being against it since he knew you once swore that you wouldn't get a boyfriend until the age of 25 (which was actually a half-joke), and him not knowing what to properly do afterwards. Was he ready for this? Having you as his girlfriend wouldn't really change or affect anything such as his studies. It would still be the same.. just with an upgraded relationship and label with you. Besides, he had been wanting to court you for some time already. And if he doesn't do it then he'd only grow more and more restless.
He wanted to be yours. He was sure you also reciprocated his feelings. Getting into a teenage relationship is easy and quick and maybe reckless, they say, but not for someone with a complex and rational thinking like him. There were some things to consider- but you know what Light said?
'God damn it.'
"Love."
"Huh?" You weren't expecting that response at all.
"I mean I was thinking about romance."
"Ooh! Finally, you decided to add some teenage thrill in your life. So, what about romance?" You gave a sly look. "Need help? I can be cupid, except I will be hitting you with my fist."
His smile was little but genuine, looking out. "There's someone I like for some time now. I've been wanting to court her."
"Awe! My boy has finally grown! My son is finally having a love interest! Eh, but why do you look so uncertain? Is there a catch?"
"Not really." He looked at you, his cheek resting on his palm. You raised an eyebrow.
"If that's the case then go for it! Who would dare to refuse the Light Yagami anyway? If you're feeling doubtful, which is highly unlikely for you, don't be. Any girl would swoon over you, even myself." You chuckled. He gave a fake impression of still being doubtful, looking down with his hands now on his thighs. It was a rare sight to see. You placed a hand on his shoulder, tapping it. Just then, he looked at you straight in the eye.
"It's not like you to lose some confidence. Come on, don't be sad. You can do it. Go ahead and court the lucky one. Cupid approves." You gave him a thumbs up.
"..If you say so," he seized your wrist and stood up.
"Can I court you then?"
